  1. Here's how that post read to me: Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Duis mollis risus lorem, vel faucibus ligula dapibus a. Aliquam hendrerit ligula at massa ultricies vulputate. Proin ac sapien euismod quam viverra faucibus eget at sapien. In eget nisl non tellus dignissim aliquam eu quis nibh. Ut finibus egestas neque eget tincidunt. Donec ut lectus at urna dapibus lacinia quis eget sem. Donec viverra commodo diam ut volutpat. Phasellus pharetra vehicula dapibus. No, it just means that he wants to know what love is.
  2. They fly cell phones into prison yards with drones now. How else do you think the Raiders forums would get so much traffic?
  3. This is like people that b*tch about today's bat-flipping young hotheads ruining baseball, when clear video evidence exists of Roger Maris doing the same thing. My late uncle who lived in Chicago years ago used to tell me stories of Mike Ditka getting up and whining for a flag each and every time he was tackled. No, that's not the same thing as TD celebrations, but let's not pretend the players of yesteryear were just a bunch of strong, silent types either.
  4. I'm not going to blow things out of proportion, especially when there are so many serious things going on in the world... But if we don't get Kyle Williams into the playoffs, somebody needs to rot in The Hague for crimes against humanity.
  5. My iPhone browser went nuts when I tried to open that site. Who runs it, Putin?
  6. Only way to stop a bad guy with a table on fire is a good guy with a table on fire.
  7. What really had me worried was the yackety sax series of laterals to end the game. Jesus, it felt like it went on for 5-10 minutes.
  8. Why do the chowderheads get to hang all their own stupid signs on the wall, but the Batavia Party Zone signs and the like had to go away?
  9. Does anyone know where this stuff actually goes down? I've been tailgating all over the place for years and have never personally witnessed this kind of a$$holery. I feel like it's one niche lot somewhere populated by a bunch of 20-something attention whores.
  10. No way, man. My wife's livelihood as a health care provider depends on stupid people making bad decisions.
  11. I've seen some online forums offer the elimination of ads in exchange for nominal membership "fees." They tend to be higher traffic places with a lot more ads, but it is a nice premium to offer that doesn't block any free users from accessing content. Edit: Now that I think about it, they tend to be forums that have proprietary software, so it's probably easier for them to offer that since they do their own coding. No clue if it would even be an option with the software SDS is running/going to run. Pthpthp, the Maserati is his winter beater. You should see the Ferrari that the Mario Williams free agency thread bought him.
  12. I get that some find paywalls annoying. But when the editor in charge of the publication comes to the forum to address individual questions and concerns, I think the matter is settled. I'm personally not paying for the premium content myself, but I understand why it exists and why it's linked on the TBD front page so I'm not gonna carp about it.
  13. No, it's fine as long as you own a minor league affiliate of one of those teams in a nearby city.
  14. Yeah, I hit the Googs to learn more about it, and this page on the Bucs site goes pretty in depth on the Bills/Bucs series history. They never came to Buffalo until 2009. But we played them eight times in Tampa from 1976 to 2005. But it doesn't explain why the schedule was so quirky like that. I know the expansion and realignment in 2002 lead to the current scheduling format for inter-conference games. But still. So weird. http://m.buccaneers.com/news/article-1/Series-History-Bucs-Bills/483ece0a-576b-4227-89af-828f26776890
  15. How is that possible?? Haven't the Bucs been in the league for like 40+ years??
  16. I heard tell of ridiculously long waits for a car after the game from the designated Uber lot. I almost wonder if walking a ways to get out of the immediate glut of postgame traffic to get your car might be quicker.
  17. My sister lives in PHX and went to one of the Bills Bars out there and said it was lame. I'm sorry, but I can't remember which one it was. Maybe one of the TSWers on the ground there can fill in the blank for me. She said there were fans of all teams there and only a handful of Bills fans. A server told her they sign up for all the NFL "Backers" clubs to drive business. That's definitely the exception in my experience. I've been to Bills Backers bars in Raleigh, Denver, LA, NYC, Boston, DC, and they've all been awesome.
  18. That was a ****ty call. You don't usually see a guy's helmet spin around on his head when he gets hit in the chest.
  19. This is why I chuckle at the beginning of every offseason when the boo-birds all exclaim "HARDEST SCHEDULE EVER NEXT SEASON L,L,L,L,L,L, W (Fish at home), L,L,L....." You never really know what teams are what until the season is well underway.
  20. I agree DJ has been getting better on air. I knew we had to give him time. Every new broadcaster needs to find their voice. And also not surprised on his take. Not only are NFL playbooks complex to try to come in and learn quickly mid-season, there's the "fit and feel" aspect of it too. Team chemistry is real. Squishy, qualitative and hard to define, but real.
