I’m a bit mystified by it all. I’ve been coming to games for 20 years and have tailgated in many private lots. Literally once have I seen anyone even attempt something like this, in the mud lot. The guys who drive around that lot on Gators shut it down IMMEDIATELY, before the dude could launch himself from the roof of a car. I truly believe it’s less than 100 idiot 20-somethings scattered her and there, going for the viral video for what they perceive to be 15 minutes of fame. I won’t pretend I was coming to the tailgate for bible study 15-20 years ago, but I wasn’t obsessed with getting anything on video either.

One is definitely not exclusive of the other.

God, that game was so much fun. Bacarri Freaking Rambo. That had been the most fun gave I ever attended, right up until this past Sunday. Nope, that was the Denver game. I went to that one as well. I’ll never forget sitting in the nosebleeds, seeing that wuss move from so far away, my buddy and I losing our minds, and then my phone blowing up with texts from friends watching the game back at home.

As do I. I don’t know any of you people. Far as I really know, this entire board could be me and SDS’s 10,000 alt accounts. But there has been enough truth to enough instances of “inside information” here that I neither believe it nor dismiss it right away. We had a blast. Regrettably, we missed the theatrics at the end, we left with just a few minutes left in the fourth. I was nervous about making the drive back to ROC. Caught it all on the radio and participated in a major honk-fest on the thruway.

@BigPappy mentioned something in the welcome thread that got me thinking. Maybe we could plan a meetup around an upcoming road game. It would probably be good to pick a mutually agreeable spot for everyone, so where are you all located? I’m in West Henrietta. Duff’s on West Henrietta Road is fairly close by for me, and is the official Rochester Bills Backers bar, but we can definitely try to think of a more central location depending on where people are at.
