@BigPappy mentioned something in the welcome thread that got me thinking. Maybe we could plan a meetup around an upcoming road game. It would probably be good to pick a mutually agreeable spot for everyone, so where are you all located?
I’m in West Henrietta. Duff’s on West Henrietta Road is fairly close by for me, and is the official Rochester Bills Backers bar, but we can definitely try to think of a more central location depending on where people are at.
Hell yeah!
I’m glad to see the club has grown to over 20 members. I’m not totally sure how to utilize the club yet, but it’s good to know it’s here. And I’ll reemphasize that this club should be for everyone. Feel free to add/invite other members from the ROC.
How many here are season ticket holders or regularly attend the home games? Maybe we can have a meetup around one of the road games to end the season, especially if they’re meaningful games.
Serious question, what is the last team for whom “tanking” worked out well?
The Colts? Their once-in-a-Generation QB is currently getting experimental fairy dust and unicorn farts treatment in the Swiss Alps.
Where has it gotten the Sabres?
I can see tanking making SOME sense for the NBA, where one player can truly be transformational, and is 20% of your starting lineup.
Tank Talk, the lazy armchair GM’s magical salve for everything ever.
Well, he does have a whole Internet forum of haters posting in his “Official” thread (seriously, WTF does “official” mean?), generating heat online and making his employers happy, so he can’t be that stupid.
Fuzzy math.
“Sellout,” as New England sports fans have come to learn, is a relative term. A very relative term.

Scanning that website, it seems their focus is the SEC. So yeah, most of the comment threads on any topic with that crowd turn into frothy spittle tirades about race, lamestream MSM media, dumbocrats, etc.
