One good thing about this is the shady hobo signs on 20A are probably done. The seats directly in front of ours were always on resale, for a number of years. Then they opened up this year, so we “upgraded” one row down to now sit next to our friends. I wonder if that guy lost his seasons for always reselling them.

More like clickbait to get eyeballs. I don’t know who or what a “Mike Clay” is but linking and discussing his material, however misguided, makes his bosses very happy.

We moved our aisle seats down one row to be closer to friends. The seats belonged to a stub hubber for years and finally opened up.

I don’t know if anyone cares to hear my wife’s armchair diagnosis as a medical speech therapist, but she works with a lot of patients in similar predicaments. She can tell Jim is trached (that’s the safety strap going around his neck) for breathing, which is OK, because they don’t want to mess around with his mouth’s healing process right now by sticking a tube down his throat. She’s also pretty sure that’s a brand new feeding tube hanging off to the side of his face. That’s good news if they’ve moved to that from the peg tube that goes into the side of your gut. Most people can probably guess why the family isn’t showing Jim’s face right now. He’s bound to still be pretty swollen, bruised and just generally jacked up. Plus the tracheostomy. I think this is a nice, intimate, but still respectful way they’ve chosen to document Jim’s recovery in these immediate days. So still a long road ahead, but this is all good progress. Especially him being up and moving with the procedure they had to do on his leg (you can see the bandages on his left leg) to reconstruct his upper jaw. Much love to the Kellys!

I don’t know, does it just seem crazier to us because the Bills are in the thick of things with all our stockpiled picks? Like, was it this crazy for Eagles fans a few years ago when their GM kept moving up and up and up to get Wentz?

My wife is a medical speech therapist who has seen cases like Jim’s before. Some of the gory details are pretty f’d up. He’s got a long road ahead of him, but we all know that. All prayers, good vibes, well wishes, etc.

People’s criticisms of him are often about his attitude and maturity. So then by keeping a list of his enemies, he’s kinda proving those people are right.

Oh yeah, I don’t really give a sh*t either, it just makes me wonder where this kid’s head is at. By all accounts he’s an accomplished QB from a big time program almost assured to go in the first round. (As opposed to Brady who was a doughy backup with zero expectations.) And so he chooses to focus on the “haters” to get motivated? That’s kind of weird to me.
