I haven’t known any former professional athletes, but I’ve known a number of former D1 athletes who have a hell of a time keeping weight OFF after their playing days are over. Seems they can have trouble adjusting their caloric intake down after all the years of having to exercise and thus eat like crazy.

Exactly, that statement really said almost literally nothing about the future, other than they're "preparing" for camp there this summer, which isn't the same as being committed to camp there this summer. Loopholes big enough to drive a Pittsford Central School District bus through.

I believe they are signed through 2021 or something like that, but there's also a pretty inexpensive buyout option, something like $100k, IIRC. A friend of mine is pretty high up the food chain at Fisher, and he told me last year the feelings there are that the Bills will be pulling training camp out. I think it's a massive bummer. The atmosphere there is just electric, and as a Rochestarian I love having camp here. The setup, by all accounts, is the envy of the league. And I love that I can be at camp in 10 minutes, vs. the 90 minute drive we make eight times a year for home games.

Can't emphasize this enough. Anyone who thinks the buses are the worst part isn't doing it right.

Yeah, I mentioned it a while ago too. Not that I’m claiming to be a wizard or anything, I just knew what I knew from talking to a few buddies in New York. While there was a logic to Eli = Old = 1st round QB, that’s really not what Giants fans were sensing at all.

I knew from talking to Giants fans in NYC over the last few months. After the PR debacle of Eli’s benching and unbenching last season, there was no way they were going to take a QB high in the draft this year, not with all the other holes they needed to fill.

I like the morning show guys. I think they can be humorous and entertaining, at times. Scoop and the Bullfrog are borderline unlistenable, most of the time. I actually prefer when the second banana hosts by himself. But it’s a small radio market, people. If these guys were any good, they’d be hustled along to a bigger market.
