I’ve always been pretty even-keeled and respectful at Bills roadies. Atlanta, Charlotte, Denver, LA, never had a problem. What I don’t like is how angry Bills fans get at opposing fans who aren’t out of line. A couple good buddies of mine flew up from NYC for the Giants game a few years ago, and we were just sitting there calmly discussing the game, and this ham-and-egger in front of us felt the need to chew out my buddy. We have some of the best tailgating in the league, yet you’re going to get all bent out of shape when people want to actually come check it out? Grow up.

Waking up that morning in an LA hotel room, listening to WGR streaming, callers openly weeping with joy that the Bills’ future in Buffalo was secure. Not gonna lie, there was a lot of dust flying around that room when I realized I was ensured being able to raise my small kids as Bills fans, going to games etc. That was a good day.

Just a theory based on my daze working in radio... Because they take live calls, WGR likely broadcasts Scope and Bullfrog on a seven-second delay, which is standard in radio. In case anyone curses or whatever, they can hit the “dump” button to lose the seven seconds of naughty audio. Maybe something was said either by McDermott or Shoop that was inappropriate and so they had to dump out of the delay. When you do that, it often sounds like silence and awkwardness on the broadcast while everyone silently freaks out in the studio. I wasnt listening, but given the strange disappearance of Schoop after the break, it seems like SOMEthing went down.
