I think we should just nickname him "Tiny."
If his knees hold up, I don't see how he couldn't be a force on the field.
Also, re: kicker.. Wasn't Ndamukong Suh also a kicker at one point? And didn't the lions have him kick an xp or something last year?

you have to be kidding me...i live in the philly area and was planning on making the trip up for that game with some friends of mine
It's like a two hour drive from Buffalo. Whether driving or flying, it's not that much different to get up there from Philly.

Those same people boo'd Santa Clause.
...and Mike Schmidt.
I actually like Philly a lot, as a city. But their sports fans are complete botards.

At least Ralph looks pretty good for being so old, not a gotdamn cryptkeeper like Al Davis.

I've always liked the Niners, going back to the Montana days, since I come from a big Notre Dame family. Plus, they were the favorite team of Hunter S. Thompson, my favorite writer.
Obviously we all want the Bills to return to relevance, but I kinda hope to see the Niners make a similar turnaround.

Honestly they have to leave that early just to be able to get on the one road out of town. Worst stadium location ever!
PTR
Yeah, I lived in Boston for a few years, and it is a NIGHTMARE getting in and out of Fawxboragh. Personally, though, it's the playoffs, there's still a chance to win, I wouldn't be going ANYwhere. But, those front-running d-bags drained that stadium like a sewer. Good riddance, chowdah heads.

Not as cool as most stories, but I get a kick out of it:
A good friend of mine here at work, he worked for one of the big trading card companies back in the late 80s/early 90s. He got to go to the 1991 Pro Bowl and spent a good amount of time with Jim Kelly, apparently he had some kind of promotional deal with my friend's company.
Anyway, Jimbo gave my buddy the ugly-ass neon green Pro Bowl cap he received in his schwag bag. My buddy, a Giants fan (ugh), in turn gave it to me because he thought I would enjoy it more. So it sits here on my shelf at work. Not autographed or anything, but I still think it's pretty cool.

It's not P.Bch, but it looks like there's a Bills Backers bar in Boynton Beach. Check out the locater map: http://www.buffalobills.com/fans/billsbackers/backer-locator-map.html

I ran from the living room to the kitchen, hands on my head, trying to suppress my howling of "NOOOOOO" trying to not scare my five-month old son.

How certain are we Luck WILL declare for the draft?
-
In all the national media I've read and heard, it sure seems the Bills HAVEN'T been mentioned as a likely candidate for relocation to LA. The Chargers, Vikings and Jags seem to be the most consistently mentioned. I think it is recognized that the Bills' fan base is too rabid. We're sort of like the Cubs in that way, I guess.

Kiss the #1 pick goodbye. If the Bills had that pick it would certainly be a QB. Who may or may not be the answer (and the numbers say not), but either way would command a huge amount of money and at least a 4 year trial. There is a reason teams at the bottom stay at the bottom.
Kiss the #1 pick goodbye, and be gratefull.
Yeah, seriously. Where is it written that a #1 pick is automatic success? The NFL has done a good job marketing/publicizing the draft, but it's created an awful lot of armchair GMs.

Really? Cassey Wasserman said that? I'm glad to see someone from LA do their homework about the Bills...
I was listening the other day to the Loose Cannons show on Fox Sports Radio on XM... They're based in LA, and they were talking about the possible NFL teams to move there. They all dismissed Buffalo quickly as not a good candidate to move and focused on J'ville, St. Louis, Oakland and San Diego. They didn't really go into the reasons WHY they thought Buffalo wouldn't move, but at least they all seemed to recognize it wasn't likely.

Did people get this upset when Green Bay used to play games in Milwaukee? Or is that different, because this is "ZOMG, a forrin' country"?
-
We'd be just as happy as Chiefs fans are if everything were reversed. I agree it is a really crappy tactic, but it's within the rules, and I don't see why they should change. I have heard that sometimes kickers actually like it, because it gives them a real warm-up, not just kicking into a net on the sidelines. These dudes are pros. If they get all freaked out because "OMG, I have to do it again?!," they shouldn't be in the NFL in the first place.

I love Fitz as much as anyone, but he is what he is. A gunslinger. He'll get you some TDs, and some INTs to match. He's like a power hitter who swings at everything. Lots of homeruns AND strikeouts.

Hahaha, I was just thinking the same thing. Instead of getting pissed off at the Bills on TV, I took a nice long walk with my little boy, got some errands done, and generally had a great Sunday. Back to the grind next Sunday I guess.
-
Keep the faith! We'll be watching on the satellite down here in NC.

Not blacked out on Sunday Ticket here in NC. Feel free to drop by. BYOB.

It's been said before, and I know we're all impatient to win again, but I really like how Chan seems to be tinkering with this team to genuinely find out what works. And, best of all, when something doesn't work (ie Trent), he doesn't hesitate to own up to it and be decisive about how to move forward.

...since when do we put dogs closer to humans on the spectrum of life than cows, chickens, turkeys, pigs, etc.?
Since the domesticated dog evolved with modern man over the last 10,000-20,000 years. There is something unique to dogs in how they evolved from wolves into our hunting companions and eventually just companions. Dogs are different.
Also, conditions of life or death aside, there's a big difference between killing animals for food and killing animals just for the LULZ.

I thought there was some pitcher in the majors who went to MIT and is, literally, a rocket scientist. Maybe he's only in the minors... Can't remember his name.
Is this a sign?

I'm pretty sure they're just clearing inventory for the new jerseys that are coming soon. On one of the pages they advertise a Dareus jersey, royal blue, that will ship in "4-6 weeks."
Anyone know when that event is that they're supposed to unveil the new unis?
