  1. PFT reporting the schedule has checked out of Luke Russert's hotel and is on its way to Chicago.
  2. I get your point, but plenty of us have moved away and continue to support the team. We have a pair of season tickets, as do many, many other transplants. They're so cheap (compared to other teams) and pretty easy to get rid of without losing too much money, if you lose any money at all. We'll make it to 2-3 games this year probably, and unload the rest.
  3. "How Deep is Your Love" by the Bee Gees. Meh.
  4. We owed a bit this year, but I'd much rather owe a little or just break even. Getting a big refund equates to an interest-free loan for the government all year. Say you get a $1,000 refund. I'd much rather just put that $83 per month to work for me over the course of the year.
  5. So when will we know Mario's number? Double-zero would be kinda sweet though.
  6. That's cool, I love this stuff. Unrelated, but I remember reading once about the longest uninterrupted string of transactions in MLB could be traced all the way back to the Philadelphia Athletics in like the 1920s. I wonder if there is a website where sports geeks can track this kind of thing?
  7. Pretty much this. Depth and talent, guys. Depth and talent.
  8. I like my women like I like my coffee. Ground up and [please fix subject].
  9. I know I'm going out on a limb here, but I have a great deal of trust in Buddy and Chan, in this third year, to finally please fix the subject.
  10. I thought i read somewhere that, while there were fewer injuries on kickoffs, there were fewer returns too, obviously. And that if you broke down injuries per kick return, injuries actually occurred at the same (or maybe even higher) rate. I'll try to look it up when I'm at a computer later.
  11. Get tickets to a game! $50 per person is a little much, but hell, you only get married (hopefully) once.
  12. From reading this board, I've learned he is either the best ever, or history's greatest monster.
  13. Not last year. I think we all knew at least half of the NFC East would be a tough row to hoe.
  14. If I had to guess, it would be Jags, Rams or Titans. They're in the middle-ish part of the season, and I think they've moved away from having a divisional game in Toronto after outcry from fans. I would hate for them to have the 11/25 game up there, since we'll likely (along with a lot of other people) be in town for Thxgiving and would definitely want to go to a game no matter who the opponent is.
  15. Interesting if it's real. Monday night @ Pats? And which one is the Toronto game? I would also love for the game right after Thxgiving and before Xmas to be home games, since we'll likely be making the trip up from NC for both holidays anyway.
  16. Who cares? It ain't my money. And it's not like we paid him SO much that we severely hindered our ability to bring in anyone else or pay our rookies.
  17. Smokescreen I guess? But also... Wouldn't you want to learn as much as possible about all these guys since you're more likely to playing AGAINST them than WITH them?
  18. I think it would be hard as hell to maneuver, scramble and run in high heels.
  19. This cannot be emphasized enough. Depth and talent, depth and talent, depth and talent.
  20. I think he's worth a late round pick simply for having an awesome football name.
  21. Even though I had to turn my head sideways, that's a great video. We all knew FredEx could throw, but it looks like his boy might have some game too! What's the 2027 draft board looking like?
  22. If they start winning, they can wear mismatched, irregular jerseys with third sleeves from the old Champion outlet on Jefferson Road in Rochester for all I care.
  23. Yeah, I remember his call-in show on WHAM or whatever in the early 90s. I used to listen and call in when I was just a kid, like 12-13. Much of his work as long as I can remember now has seemed pretty superficial and light.
  24. Rumor and innuendo?...Really?...A quick Google news search for the first four months of 1998 reveals lots and lots of rumor and innuendo... "Leaf and Tennessee quarterback Peyton Manning are undoubtedly the class of this year's draft." ""I think the consensus of opinion is that two guys like (Manning and Leaf) don't come along very often," Charger General Manager Bobby Beathard said." ... Good lord, the parallels to this year's draft are stunning... San Diego traded up to #2 from #3 (yes, number THREE) to ensure they got either Manning or Leaf... Now again, it's not that I think Luck (or RG3) will be busts, or that Fitz will lead us to the promised land...But you can't shoehorn the story of Leaf/Manning 14 years later into some revisionist argument that Luck is a surefire bet for Canton and everybody knew Leaf would be a bust and so Fitz should die homeless and penniless and 20 pounds overweight and that nobody will ever love him...But it is a free world, so I will go ahead and take you up on that offer to think whatever I wish...
  25. That is simply not true. He was also throwing to the #2 RB and #3 QB. With a #3? #4? C/#2OT snapping him the ball.
