  1. A bit in the Bills Buzz email this morning got me thinking about this (quoted below). Could Jerry be settling into that post-Kyle, post-Zo leadership vacuum on the defensive side of the ball we’ve all been talking about?

I know he’s been a bit of a wildcard personality in his career with us and there’s no love lost between him and the zebras. (I had to laugh at the holding call he did draw, where he was basically mauled to the ground. Like, ahh, so that’s what it takes for #55 to finally get that call.)

    From today’s Bills Buzz:

What was less evident to viewers was the impact Hughes had on the sideline. Frazier lauded the defensive end's attitude during the tumultuous first half and talked about how Hughes has actively filled the leadership role previously occupied by Kyle Williams and Lorenzo Alexander.

"I was so encouraged by Jerry yesterday," Frazier said. "Early in the game, we had fell behind. Jerry was so positive and encouraging his teammates on the sideline. I remember saying to myself, 'Man, that's what you need out of one of your star players who's a leader.'

Anyone else do this, you see someone in a store, they have something Bills on, and as you pass you just say "Go Bills" they usually reply, and you just keep walking? My wife thinks it's strange.

Do any other team fans do something similar?

100%. And the overall excitement and volume of the exchange increases at a rate proportional to my current distance from One Bills Drive.

Why? If you or I were in the same shoes and could get 5.5MM for leaving a job, plus negotiate for a couple million more from our new employer we would do it in a heartbeat

I never spite these guys for holding out, negotiating, leveraging whatever they have to. So few NFL players get the opportunity and so little is guaranteed to them anyway. Make your paper, dude.

It’s not like this recent positive test was an unimaginable outcome.  The league shouldn’t be figuring out how to reschedule today - that plan should have been in place when they moved the game the first time (or earlier).

When you have a product worth billions of dollars, you don’t make it up as you go along.

I’m with you. This whole thing is pants-on-head stupid, and no, not just because the Bills are impacted.

Brady not owning the mistake in post-game.  What a royal douche - the anti-Josh

F’in up is one thing, not owning it is another, but being the first to screech at your teammates for their own miscues, IN THE SAME GAME, is some next-level douche canoe material.
