  1. Ridiculous and unacceptable in that they were called at all. Did you see the "taunting" call last night? It was completely incidental, Easley was basically reaching over to hand the ball to a ref and accidentally dropped it in a way that made it bounce lightly off a Viking defender's helmet. Anybody with half a brain could tell it was totally innocuous and accidental. The announcers agreed. And the PI call on Robey was just dumb. He was making a clean play for the ball.
  2. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say this team looks decent.
  3. Hogan looks like Welker, little high motor guy going across the middle, always open. Kinda like a convenience store. Has anyone made that analogy yet?
  4. Seems everyone's promo links are dead, so here is mine. http://preseason.nfl.com/nflpl/raf/B4M6YEBC7WNR
  5. How dare anyone enjoy a moment of levity in the work place. Cut them all.
  6. I'm willing to bet most any city of a decent size has a sports bar called "Overtime."
  7. Koko Alphonso's TD breakup was my favorite defensive play. It showed such great awareness, instinct and lightning-fast reflexes. Dude looks to be for real. I know, I know, it's just the preseason, but it's nice to have a long list of nice plays to reflect on and what doesn't seem like nearly as many bad plays.
  8. It's been a long time since I've cracked open a fresh Doom and Gloom thread on a Monday morning. Football is back!
  9. We didn't look lost. That's a good thing. Expectations shouldn't get too high or too low though. I am proceeding with the same cautious optimism I've had since the beginning of camp.
  10. Wow. We all knew it, but that's the first time I've really seen Goodwin's wheels. Dayum.
  11. Fact: Colts cheerleaders are the only slender women in the entire state of Indiana.
  12. Wow, couple nice plays in the backfield to stop a TD.
  13. Eh, the production folks need to get back in the swing of things too.
  14. I just want to say, I'm glad this day is here, and I look forward to soon getting discouraged and throwing in the towel on the season with all of you. See you in the 2014 draft threads!
  15. Did the same reporter ask seven follow up questions pertaining to how ready he thought Luck's brain was to be picked, what did he expect to find upon picking Luck's brain and oh yeah, did he plan on picking Luck's brain? And then go get bitchy about it on Twitter?
  16. Lookit Dougie throwin' the change up. ...again, not saying I don't think he's a prick. I just like how he sometimes directs that prickishness toward mandatory track suits and the media in general.
  17. Right, that's what he says, because he never gives a straight answer if he doesn't have to. He also says he cuts off the sleeves because his "arms are too short." I don't even have to post a link, just google it, plenty of stories are out there about it. He'd rather wear a suit and tie than be forced to wear Nike gear, and he likes to f*#% with the media. Don't get me wrong, I can't stand the guy, but I like the cut of his jib sometimes. SOMETIMES.
  18. There's something to be said for coaches wearing suits. It's classy. It's actually the one thing I like about Belichick. He doesn't dress like a bum because he's a bum. He dresses like a bum because he hates that he's forced to wear league-approved reebok/Nike gear on the sidelines and would rather go old school with a coat and tie.
