  1. He's a world class orthopod, sees world class athletes. I've known a couple docs that trained with him. One commented on how blazingly stupid the average NFL athlete is.
  2. What's with the new guy bringing levelheaded, well thought out content? In complete sentences and paragraphs, no less? I'm betting this is going to be a defensive slugfest, a real low-scoring pitchers duel, which I love. Turnovers and/or special teams will be the key, two areas in which we have the ability to shine. Let's Go Buffalo! See you at the Ralph!
  3. Just put a soup can in the broadcast booth and hold another soup can in your hands at your seat. Then tie a string between the soup cans and listen that way. Make sure there's no soup in the cans first though, I learned that one the hard way.
  4. Damn. I don't mean to sound all Internet Tough Guy about it, but if someone did something like that my kid, I'm pretty sure my reaction would land me in jail.
  5. I don't understand why "going to the ground" is some kind of line you cross over. Don't the guys kneeling in prayer go to the ground too?
  6. Another sideline club question: How long before game time can you get into the club? 90 minutes, same as when the regular gates open?
  7. I bought a ticket on stub hub, so I guess I'm part of the problem, not the solution.
  8. We bought a pair of Jim Kelly Club tickets for the game this weekend on stubhub because why the hell not. My question: Do the tickets themselves get us into any kind of special parking for club seats, or is there a separate parking pass needed?
  9. Makes sense. Kick the tires on whoever else was out there, but go with the guy who at least knows the system.
  10. It seems Sundays off from the Bills are like little in-season vacations. I typically disconnect from football altogether. Today I played a round of golf, then spent the rest of the day running errands with my wife and bumming around with my little boy, then family dinner with my folks. All in all, a nice Sunday, free of Bills-anxiety. The only football moment we had was when driving home from the mall, my wife glanced at her phone and remarked: "Huh, Moorman's back." Oh, well. Back to the grind next week...
  11. Dumb question, is this game available on local tv in Rochester? A buddy of mine who works in television said he thought the NFL Network would sometimes negotiate with the teams' home networks to simulcast the Thursday night game.
  12. Very true. Success or failure, nobody can accuse this defense of being vanilla.
  13. For the love of Pete, yes!!! Animated GIF signatures? Adopt-a-Bills? What the F is that?? It's why this is the only Bills forum I frequent. Just the right blend of intelligent commentary and snark.
  14. I've referred to it here before, but haven't been able to find the exact quote. Decades ago, Hunter S. Thompson, gonzo journalist and football nut, had a great line about the best linebackers, and that you need them to be savages to do their jobs correctly. After tossing out Poz and Fitz jerseys, I swore I'd never buy an active player's jersey again, but dammit if Kiko doesn't have me thinking otherwise.
  15. LOL, i love the brevity of that statement and use of the term "hazmat." That's corporate/lawyer speak to the Nth degree right there. And the headline referring to "select" concession and restroom areas. Ooh, "select"! As in, we were SELECTED to be lucky enough to crawl through a river of $#%% and come out clean on the other side!
  16. I predict another Bills/Browns classic. Final score: Bills win, 4-2.
  17. TD off the INT? "We've secretly replaced the Buffalo Bills with an actual NFL team. Let's see if anyone notices."
  18. Oof. Now I'm REALLY glad I'm not there. That's where I usually sit.
  19. That Allman brother we've got kicking has been pretty solid, no? Kicker controversy?
