  1. I think all of WNY was screaming SLIDE!!!! just then.
  2. BYRD! Was it me or was that a really slow, long run back on an INT?
  3. Gilmore beaten like a gong on that one.
  4. Is the stadium empty? Sounds like they're playing at a wake.
  5. and their antiquities.
  6. Looks more like a big blue dong.
  7. The guy that always bullied Parker Lewis.
  8. Sitting here in section 126. Tuel looks serviceable. About the best we could hope for from a 4th option QB.
  9. Oh, well. At least I've got yard work to do. That's gonna be way more fun.
  10. He'll be better off trying to get pressure on RA Dickey.
  11. That we're not even considering trading Mario for Red Skelton speaks to the ineptitude of our front office. I remember when we signed Mario, somebody posted a video of highlights from his time with Houston and I'm not even scared to admit I got all goose-bumpy picturing similar highlights, but with him in a Bills uniform. This is even better than what I imagined.
  12. Mario is mouthy and funny as hell. I wish he was more like that in his interviews too.
  13. ...a heads up veteran play, also deep in the opposing team's territory. Kyle showed good situational awareness there. He knew we'd get the points either way.
  14. I think that one of the fortunate side-effects of the mass exodus out of WNY in recent decades has been that the Bills (and Sabres) always travel well, especially when playing in the sun belt. We spent 7 years in NC and I went to Bills games in Charlotte and Atlanta, and we were always represented well, especially in Charlotte. We just moved back to Rochester last month though, to be back home and raise our kids around family and decent public schools, so I can happily say there's no place I'd rather be than right here, right now. Go Bills. Squish the Fish.
  15. That he has not taken any snaps under center speaks to the ineptitude of whichever coaching/front office figure I decide to B word about this week.
  16. Kiko doesn't learn languages. Languages learn Kiko. He definitely seems more at ease speaking Spanish.
  17. This offseason I swore off of buying any more active players' jerseys. Kiko's got me rethinking that.
  18. I think his point was that they're far beyond dumb-jock stupid. More like pants-on-head stupid.
  19. Some of those are pretty funny.
  20. He's a world class orthopod, sees world class athletes. I've known a couple docs that trained with him. One commented on how blazingly stupid the average NFL athlete is.
  21. Happy Birthday, Mr. Wilson!
  22. What's with the new guy bringing levelheaded, well thought out content? In complete sentences and paragraphs, no less? I'm betting this is going to be a defensive slugfest, a real low-scoring pitchers duel, which I love. Turnovers and/or special teams will be the key, two areas in which we have the ability to shine. Let's Go Buffalo! See you at the Ralph!
  23. Just put a soup can in the broadcast booth and hold another soup can in your hands at your seat. Then tie a string between the soup cans and listen that way. Make sure there's no soup in the cans first though, I learned that one the hard way.
  24. Damn. I don't mean to sound all Internet Tough Guy about it, but if someone did something like that my kid, I'm pretty sure my reaction would land me in jail.
  25. I don't understand why "going to the ground" is some kind of line you cross over. Don't the guys kneeling in prayer go to the ground too?
