  1. Oh, I'm not saying he could have or even should have done more. I'm just saying this is all being reported as if it's something new. While new details may have emerged, I thought anyone who paid attention to the new lease (like most of us here) knew that it was tremendously difficult/expensive or nearly impossible for this team to go anywhere before 2020.
  2. Is it just me or are these "the Bills aren't going anywhere until 2020" reports nothing new to any of us here who have been paying attention since the new lease was signed? It's being described as "Ralph's final gift" to the fans. That just makes me a little uneasy if his "final gift" was a temporary solution we all knew about and not any real long term arrangements for the ownership of the team.
  3. If the Bills move, I honestly think the NFL would no longer be a part of my life, other than emotionally detached viewing of the postseason. I'd put that energy into my favorite hockey and baseball teams instead. People of significant means tend to care a lot about their legacy. Mr. Wilson putting his name on so many charitable endeavors is evidence of that. I've got to think he made sure some kind of plan was in place for the team. Time will tell. Hopefully sooner rather than later. As a fan base we've been in this sort of holding pattern on the future of our team for how many years? Decades?
  4. I'm sure some of this speculation can be chalked up to pre-draft smoke and mirrors as well.
  5. Nice. Didn't know Byrd converted too. Nice to have a sense the front office has a post-Byrd plan.
  6. Aaron Williams converted from CB to safety, right? Hope we can catch that lightning in a bottle twice.
  7. Who gives a sh&t? I want the Bills to start winning, not for Adarn Schefter to be slobbering all over them.
  8. In defense of my behavior in college, after a few beers, a 5 easily turns into a 7 or an 8.
  9. I don't think anything will top Mario-palooza from a few years ago. But just in case, do we have eyes at Tempo? The airport? FAA flight logs? Mrs. Russert's hotel? Jimbo's backyard?
  10. Reasonable, cautious optimism? On a Bills message board? Is this like an "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" thing?
  11. Maybe. All I know is as recently as a month or so ago, I was able to log into the account manager and look at the big seat map of individual season ticket availability. Now I can't. Just wondering if others are finding the same.
  12. I can't view the seat maps showing seat availability on the account manager online. Can anyone else? Wondering if it's something with my account, or do they not have the maps up yet because of the price changes or something?
  13. Luke Russert's mom is reporting that those delivery trucks are full of money.
  14. Those weird smarties candies that are made out of chocolate. Seriously, what's wrong with you people? However, the Cuban cigars are an acceptable trade-off.
  15. I'm a Jays fan and love the take one of my favorite Jays blogs has on the announcement at: Drunk Jays Fans "...if they had any sense about them, both the Bills and Rogers would see fit to taking this opportunity to finally smother this miserable stinking turd of an experiment to death. I mean, the “Toronto Bills” makes about as much sense as the “Milwaukee Packers,” and I’m pretty sure a big part of why the city had so little interest in the games — apart from ticket prices set in direct relation to the arrogance from Rogers that this was going to be an unequivocal smash — is that it’s just so utterly distasteful to want to steal what seems to an outsider like a pretty seriously important cultural institution in the city of Buffalo, and one that’s so deeply woven into the fabric of their identity. Or maybe I’d just like to think that’s part of it, because… seriously, f%ck us (read: Rogers) for even trying."
  16. The real question is: How will this affect her draft status?
  17. Isn't being a Bills fan enough cosmic punishment?
  18. Nice, me and Donte are on the same page. I said upthread, if any organization could handle the media circus, or not really let the media circus get going in the first place, it's the Pats. Say what you will about that team, but they are very good at remaining tight-lipped, and on message.
  19. I bet you're right. When Rick looked through the peephole, Michonne was probably holding up Carl's shoe. Hence, Rick laughing and saying "Carl, it's for you."
  20. Yeah, the cynic in me thinks this is Cuomo's way to demonstrate he "cares" about WNY, and by "care" I mean give us some form of entertainment after we all work long days fracking underneath each town's new casino.
  21. LOL, no matter one's interpretation of ancient texts, I think we can all agree that one DOES choose to be a moderator.
  22. Yeah, but did Lombardi hire him? Does Pettine now become the "other guy's guy" before he even wears a whistle?
