  1. You mean odds in Vegas are supposed to reflect/direct bettors' behavior, and not actually predict what's going to happen? I choose not to believe that. Instead, I will go start another thread about how Las Vegas disrespects us, in addition to ESPN, Jerry Jones and the Freemasons.
  2. Huh. I was in Vegas a few weeks ago and got 60/1. Laid down $50.
  3. Why didn't we draft two other WRs to provide depth for when Sammy inevitably gets hurt/leaves/holds out/gets abducted by aliens?? Doug is in way above his head. This FO is so clueless. I am so F'ing done with this team.
  4. By quite a ways, yes. Thanks for looking into that. I was thinking the difference from southern Ontario wasn't too drastic.
  5. Can't stand his team, but I can't hate on Kraft Dinner. Like the Rooneys in Pgh, I wish my favorite team was run so well. Edit: I wonder if the eventual owners' vote on a new owner will be a matter of public record? If so, would be odd for Kraft Dinner to make these comments and then vote the other way.
  6. Yeah, like someone asked above, how could he kill two people and then go back to playing football like it was no big deal? Well, I am not a psychologist, but I'm pretty sure that's a hallmark of sociopathic behavior. I love a good dig at the Pats as much as the next guy, but it's obvious Hernandez would've pulled the wool over anyone's eyes.
  7. But the endorsement deals, etc, would be there if he came out before or after. [shrugs] But you're right of course, no real way to know. I know this has to be a big deal in order for it to one day not be a big deal. I look forward to that day. Judging someone for being in love with another consenting adult is just insane to me.
  8. I believe that as well. Scouts were sniffing around as scouts do and the story was bound to get out. He made the announcement so the story would get out on his own terms. For those who think it was a calculated move: Why would he have come out before the draft and not after, risking draft position and money?
  9. Awesome. Can't wait for this season. I especially liked the call with CJ.
  10. Kiko is not reached for comment. Comments reach for Kiko.
  11. I kind of disagree. I think he gives off an air of quiet confidence, exactly what you want on the o-line. They're the protectors.
  12. Congratulations on the dumbest post of the year. Jupiter is a well established market for the gas Giants.
  13. Just spitballing here... What if Toronto eventually does get a franchise besides the Bills while the Bills DO remain in WNY. What then of our market penetration into Southern Ontario. I know these decisions aren't made based on ifs-and-buts, but in that case maybe a more central WNY location WOULD be to our advantage, to draw more from the east.
  14. As one of those 6, I'd just like to point out I acknowledged it was for my own selfish purposes and that I doubt it will actually happen. I was just glomming onto the idea of a sub-60 minute drive to and fro on game days.
  15. Wow, you're absolutely right. My bad. Dumbassery owned up to.
  16. We've held 83 out of circulation all these years and put it back in rotation NOW, the year Reed goes in the Hall? No frickin way.
  17. I think anyone who's ever called out Wawrow should put their money where their mouth is and go for this job.
  18. If they can put Foxboro Stadium out in the middle of nowhere with one road in and out of town that's not even a highway, then a Batavia location right off the thruway could make sense. As a Rochester season ticket holder, I am very much in favor of Batavia for my own selfish reasons, but I'm honestly doubtful it happens. However, the more I think about it, the more logical it seems, especially considering the Foxboro model. I'm sure other teams have done it too, thrown their stadiums way out in the middle of nowhere. One advantage to the location is that it would allow for preserving our tradition of wide-open spaces for tailgating. As others have pointed out, the tailgating scene at more densely-packed urban stadiums is kind of a bummer. I've been to Charlotte and Atlanta in particular. Instead of a big community vibe, it's just small groups scattered around various private lots and parking decks.
  19. Mel Kiper rated Whaley's speech a D+. OMFG, we don't get no respect. No respect, I tells ya!
  20. I'd be for it. It would cut our trip from ROC in half!
  21. For the Browns it's not about the Browns' narrative, it's about the Manziel narrative. No matter who picked him, they were going to get oodles of attention and love. Because it's the easy, lazy story to write that will garner the most eyeballs for the least effort. And does anybody really think the Browns are in good shape? They lost their star receiver for a year (after sitting on the information for two weeks - conveniently waiting until after they sold 2,000 season tickets). And we all read the alleged scouting report on Manziel.
  22. To the armchair media critics: Do you understand what a "narrative" is? The narrative is that the Bills suck, and will continue to suck, until they don't suck anymore. What possible draft scenario do you think would've garnered us any love at all in the media? No draft can possibly be analyzed for at least two years anyway. Cripes, turn off ESPN, NFLN, all of it and go outside for some fresh air. I promise you'll feel better.
  23. What I noticed is how gaunt Jimbo looks. He better beat this cancer's ass soon.
