  1. And yet there's 4 other threads discussing the topic. You coulda posted there. Clean it up, rook!
  2. Someone should start a thread about how many threads there are.
  3. Oversights in the fine print on the Bills website? I smell another class action suit! Daddy needs a new Gilmore jersey! Cha-ching!
  4. He tripped before making the catch. Clearly we gave up too much for this guy.
  5. It's 2014. We need to put an ad on CraigsList. Throw in a free couch.
  6. "Articles and interviews." Does that reflect what's going on behind the scenes or does it reflect what some journalists are interested in for clicks and eyeballs and ZOMG Bon Jovi!
  7. I just got the email myself, and it reads as follows: Your 2014 season tickets are on their way and you should receive them within the next week. Your season ticket card is your game day ticket for all ten home games. You no longer have to keep track of separate tickets for each game. Your card is your ticket for the entire season. Each seat on your account will have one season ticket card. If you need to give tickets to a friend or family member it is FREE and EASY! You can forward tickets via email or print tickets at home through Account Manager. Edit: Simulpost with eball. Heh.
  8. He's from Florida, played for Clemson. This weather ain't no thang. Do they blast music during position drills too? Or just 11 on 11s? I wonder what that makes the vibe like for fans watching.
  9. Tummy full of ribs + hot sun = nap under the bleachers
  10. This motley crew would know, right guys??! [looks for high fives, has no takers]
  11. Sometimes in life you can take some solace in knowing that there are things in this world you can't possibly know as well as things that are completely out of your control. Sometimes you can find a little peace in just letting go, and letting the chips fall as they may. This is not one of those times.
  12. While altitude can cause problems for people with sickle cell, I think they're at a high risk for a whole lot more serious issues.
  13. Probably better than Congel's retention of Dewey, Cheatham & Livingston.
  14. I still think the NFL's unusual 501c6 nonprofit status is a major hurdle for international expansion and helps explain why the NFL is the only major sports league not to have done it yet. I may be wrong, and often am, but I'd love to see some pro reporting on it.
  15. Trust your Rochester brethren. We want this schlub as far away from the Bills as possible.
  16. Should we put someone specifically on the "EJ & Sammy's Chemistry" beat?
  17. I'll probably make it to at least 3-4 practices, but I'm not enough of an X's and O's guy to do the nitty gritty analysis. Still, I'll try to pass along whatever observations I can make.
  18. BREAKING NEWS: Somebody doesn't like the commissioner of a major sports league.
  19. Playing solitaire 'til dawn, with a deck of 51. The life of a Bills fan.
  20. Yeah, I kinda wish I had hung onto the clip for that one day in the distant future when we can all look back on it and laugh. I really had the perfect angle, too. Section 126 is on the corner, so you could see the whole damn play, who was open, where things broke down, etc.
  21. Ha! The final seconds of the clip were immediately after the INT, you could actually hear me (and a lot of other people) scream "MOTHER******!!!" and quickly fiddle with the phone to stop recording.
  22. That play happened right in front of us in section 126. I was recording video with my iPhone, thinking it was going to be a great view of a sure thing TD. I watched the clip once a few days later, shook my head, and deleted it.
  23. I've been to BofA Stadium in Charlotte and the Georgia Dome. The only advantage those modern stadiums have over the Ralph are wider concourses, nicer bathrooms, and easier entry/exit of the facility. All of which are being addressed with these renovations. Absolutely 1,000% agreed on the sight lines. BofA Stadium was nice, but very vertical, the upper deck feels like a cliff. Same with the Georgia Dome, plus the translucent roof makes for a very eerie lighting effect during the day, like you're watching a game under fluorescent lights. Blech. Gimme the Ralph any day. I guess concessions are better elsewhere, but I wouldn't know because I always eat breakfast and lunch at our tailgate. Other than the time we sat in club seats, I can't remember the last time I bought food in the Ralph. Maybe a soft pretzel once.
  24. I find weeping in the shower helps.
