  1. Up to 8 bidders are watching this game, rehearsing how they're gonna fire everyone.
  2. At the end of the day, all I really care about are that the Bills stay in WNY for decades to come so that my young children can grow up rooting for them like I did. Whoever ends up the owner really won't make a substantive difference in my life (unless we end up with PSLs/outrageous ticket prices as part of their new stadium plans I guess).
  3. Oh, well yeah man, that's the nature of news reporting and social media nowadays. Kinda like how everybody freaks out over every single incomplete pass EJ throws in training camp. So many of us wait breathlessly for minute-by-minute updates, and various media (reporters, insiders, friends-of-friends), are happy to oblige us, dishing it out by the heaping spoonful, accuracy, context and perspective be damned. And that is not to disparage anybody passing along such info, especially among present company on this board. I'll admit, I'm hitting F5 as much as anybody here, on Twitter, and elsewhere. But I'm also trying real hard to keep a 30,000 foot view of the whole thing.
  4. And I wonder how they're really supposed to stop leaks from occurring anyway. This is a highly scrutinized, unusual event, an NFL team on the public auction block with countless people involved when you come down to it. I'd honestly be more surprised if leaks WEREN'T happening.
  5. I'm quite certain this trust will never have to worry about selling anything else for the rest of their lives.
  6. As with most things in life, I'm sure the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
  7. Had a blast tailgating with a bus full of Bills fans from Raleigh before the game in 2009. To all the transplants: Have fun tomorrow.
  8. The Bills are for sale??? When did this happen??!
  9. Say someone like Pegula pays cash, then sells off a few 10%-20% chunks of the team. Would be an interesting way to raise a little cash, maybe for a stadium?
  10. I have nothing substantive to add. I would just like to take this opportunity to disparage politicians I don't like with nicknames, so as to appear edgy.
  11. So what's the net result of these potential NDA violations? Since the trust is running the show, will they decide whether to disqualify or let it slide? It would be pretty sh*tty of them to require everyone to sign this "10 out of 10" restrictive NDA and then not hold anyone accountable when they start blabbing in the press with artfully crafted BS. I know we've got some posters with GEDs in Law, would love to hear thoughts.
  12. The real question is: Can Brandon be the pretend GM/Shot-Caller of both the Bills and the Sabres at the same time?
  13. No, the funny part is how John Bon Aquanet equates owning an arena football team to being ready to run an NFL franchise.
  14. I'll put it this way: Seahawks and Raiders fans in attendance were shown by a single cameraman standing in an aisle. To show all the Bills fans in attendance required multiple sweeping overhead shots using a camera mounted to a boom.
  15. That would be the southern dialect. Sprinkle in extra syllables ev-uh-rywhere.
  16. Get comfy guys. I lived in the south for a time. When it comes to old southern men talking about themselves, they're not much for brevity.
  17. ...and the two Raider fans in attendance go nuts.
