  1. Haikus are pretty But sometimes they don't make sense Refrigerator
  2. Once again, I really wish this site offered "Funny" and "Smart" voting options for individual posts. This would get both.
  3. The Pats game day always gets a big red circle drawn on my calendar. I've now made that circle considerably bolder than usual.
  4. I have seen some online forums begin to use "funny" and "smart" voting buttons as a way for readers to acknowledge good content. It's a little more entertaining than simple up and down votes. This is a case where I wish we had a "funny" button to click.
  5. Please don't what? Of course that was a tragedy, I wasn't trying to poke fun or make light. Many wouldn't think water can poison and kill you. But anything can, in the right amount.
  6. An 800 lb elephant is a pretty small elephant.
  7. Water intoxication. It happened to that lady trying to win a Nintendo Wii on the radio 7-8 years ago. The dose makes the poison.
  8. I'm pretty sure the FCC can't own television markets in two different sports.
  9. Citation needed.
  10. I know for a fact the Wegmans do not have nearly that kind of money.
  11. I think what he meant to say is that the league does not allow teams to practice near casinos.
  12. I read that the Steelers are as well.
  13. There are casinos all over the Phoenix area.
  14. Right now I'm in an airport, so... Anywhere, I guess.
  15. Maybe Forbes has it in for Morgan Stanley. MS is probably late on their ad buy payments.
  16. There's no way that's possible. As has been established, nobody can own two sports franchises of any kind.
  17. EJ couldn't even find matching shoes for Dombrowski. Bust.
  18. LOL, my wife just said the same thing. Also, Boobie Dixon rules.
  19. EJ blocked that extra point right? Suck it haterz!
  20. Up to 8 bidders are watching this game, rehearsing how they're gonna fire everyone.
  21. At the end of the day, all I really care about are that the Bills stay in WNY for decades to come so that my young children can grow up rooting for them like I did. Whoever ends up the owner really won't make a substantive difference in my life (unless we end up with PSLs/outrageous ticket prices as part of their new stadium plans I guess).
  22. Oh, well yeah man, that's the nature of news reporting and social media nowadays. Kinda like how everybody freaks out over every single incomplete pass EJ throws in training camp. So many of us wait breathlessly for minute-by-minute updates, and various media (reporters, insiders, friends-of-friends), are happy to oblige us, dishing it out by the heaping spoonful, accuracy, context and perspective be damned. And that is not to disparage anybody passing along such info, especially among present company on this board. I'll admit, I'm hitting F5 as much as anybody here, on Twitter, and elsewhere. But I'm also trying real hard to keep a 30,000 foot view of the whole thing.
  23. And I wonder how they're really supposed to stop leaks from occurring anyway. This is a highly scrutinized, unusual event, an NFL team on the public auction block with countless people involved when you come down to it. I'd honestly be more surprised if leaks WEREN'T happening.
  24. I'm quite certain this trust will never have to worry about selling anything else for the rest of their lives.
  25. As with most things in life, I'm sure the truth lies somewhere in the middle.
