  1. Jim Rome spent a good chunk of his first segment talking Bills/Pats. Talked about how fired up we are, said he'd tell the Mafia to "tap the brakes" but he knows that's not what we do. Said if we win, watch out. The NFL becomes the RFL (Rex Football League).
  2. None of the major markets east of the Mississippi except for Philly are carrying the Bills game. (except for Boston obviously). I thought the storylines were a lock for national coverage. The reigning champs, what could best be described as their questionable ethics, their first game on the road, the new look Bills and their larger-than-life coach taking on his white whale. If I put on my tinfoil hat, I think this is furthering the "let's move on" narrative the NFL so desperately wants to push in regards to the cheating cheaters.
  3. I am genuinely surprised by this. I thought this game would get a lot more national play.
  4. Except... In our stadium, the home and away teams both exit the same way.
  5. Just wait until we get leosis mckelvin back.
  6. Do those chowderheads even know the acronym spells "goat"? Do they even know how to read? Can they even name a Patriots player from before 2002?
  7. I take personal offense to that. Indy's one false start on Sunday was on the tunnel end. My end.
  8. Nope. He'd be a high motor, blue collar, lunch-pail gym rat.
  9. Agreed. Rex is no dummy. He knows exactly what he's doing.
  10. it's Dan Shaughnessy. He's had the "it's over" column in the can ready to go for at least five years. People think our own dear Jerry Sullivan is negative? Take Sully, make him an actual decent writer, pump him up on PEDs, drop him into a much larger market, and there you have Dan Shaughnessy.
  11. We did. While the walk-throughs are supposed to be faster than wands, I feel they have far fewer walk-through units than they would wands. Net result, it takes a similar amount of time to get through. We lined up about 12:20, it probably took 15 minutes at most, no big whoop.
  12. Yeah, my wife called it immediately. She works with brain-injured patients and saw how wobbly he was getting up. Best wishes to Corey for a speedy recovery.
  13. Shoulda spent those 5 minutes crushing bodies until you could crush some beers.
  14. Guess I'm not the only one who didn't sleep well. We get the show on the road here from ROC in a little bit. Listen for my ear-piercing whistle from section 127!
  15. Indeed, I hope our fellow TBDer and anybody else who witnessed it gets help if needed. That's some serious sh#t to have to see. What a god-awful place and time for it to happen.
  16. Married into the money and then acquired the company in a leveraged buyout. I have colleagues I trust who have dealt with Bob Kraft face-to-face. I am told he is a buffoon of the highest order.
  17. Yup. I lived in NC for a number of years and felt I knew a thing or two about the Panthers. Until last night, when I was all: "Holy sh#t, Deangelo Williams plays for the Steelers now??!" No need for an inferiority complex chip on your shoulder.
