The dude runs a somewhat infamous profanity-laced video blog about the Eagles. There was an interview with him in a Philly pub a few years back where he admitted he had never even been to Philadelphia in his life up to that point. I was just observing that it's kind of funny, that's all. Sorry if you took offense as an out of town fan.

The funny thing about that guy is that he's not even from Philly. Not even the east coast. He's from California, and I'm not sure he's ever been to an Eagles game.

The only thing I ever found quicker on reddit was funny gifs, but then 26CB posted the Abbott Road EP picture here yesterday, throwing that out the window. The non-linear format of reddit gives me a headache anyway.

Rex is a smart guy when it comes to manipulating the media. I wouldn't be surprised if he brought his brother in and marched him around in Bills gear yesterday, and then ZOMG ducked him into an office today, to create a story and take some of the attention, pressure and distraction away from the players.

I think what you're running into is a manifestation of the literacy problem with Philadelphia sports fans.

I love the gritty underbelly of a story as much as anyone, but if they were going to tear down the early 90s Bills for partying too hard, they never would have gotten so many key figures involved in the production. Will it gloss over some things? Maybe, but why get so keyed in on the partying and others things supposedly happening behind closed doors? For that matter, assuming the Bills hard-partying did in some way contribute to the Super Bowl losses, do we know for a fact that the opposing teams were doing nothing but saying their prayers and taking their vitamins in the week leading up the big games? Is this going to be a maudlin, fluffy piece? Perhaps. But I for one can enjoy it for that, at face value. The Super Bowl run happened during my early teenage years, arguably the most important time for any sports fan developing affinities for their teams. I would much rather relive what made that time in my life so memorable, not seeing a tell-all about key players getting blasted on shooters and marching powder.

Atlanta was bland. Charlotte slightly less so. Denver didn't impress me at all. Fans did not seem particularly knowledgeable about football. I look forward to one day checking out KC or Green Bay, I hear great things.

To be fair, the chemical enhancement usually works wonders on the writing process. It's the live performances that are much more of a crap shoot. Anyway, anyone saying "rock is dead" or "there are no good bands anymore" is being willfully ignorant, and just not looking hard enough.

Awesome, enjoy the show. It's like a religious experience. I've seen them three times, but not since 2008 or 2009. Unfortunately I can't make it to any of the shows coming up. Really hoping they get that new album done soon.
