  1. Intellectually, it makes perfect sense. The human body isn't meant to throw a baseball at 95 MPH or jump out of an airplane either. But he has to know what a sh#tstorm a comment like that is going to create when all people want to hear is soundbites. Some media training and/or better in-house PR may be what the doctor ordered.
  2. Especially some media magnates feeling cranky that they're no longer allowed to simply periscope OTAs, count incomplete passes and then eat and drink on the Bills' dime.
  3. I'm talking more Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail '72. Write a long exposé on Tyrod Taylor's agent and his tragic addiction to ibogaine. Make the bastards deny it.
  4. Instead of whining about it, it'd be great if some of these yokels figured out how to get creative with it, a la Hunter S. Thompson in the early 1970s. But that's definitely asking too much.
  5. Great, as if Bills media really needed anything else to be bitchy about.
  6. So overrated that other teams are willing to give us a first round pick for the, at best, #11 CB in the league? Did this make sense in your head before typing it out?
  7. Ten minutes in the other direction, but maybe ill see you there. I always look forward to your reports, that's for sure.
  8. It's the only time I get to see the Bills 10 minutes away from my house. CAN'T WAIT!!
  9. With all the sprawl and traffic, it's like a humid Los Angeles. You just have to sub out the attractive people and their plastic surgery for morbidly obese people and their adult onset diabetes.
  10. Exactly. All this is is creative accounting and good PR.
  11. Yes, but it's something to B word about NOW! The Fire Everybody crowd isn't going to just start making sh*+ up, ascribing thoughts and motivations to people they don't even know. Oh, wait...
  12. I don't know the nature of those "relationships" the Bills have, but I wouldn't say scalping is good or bad, it just IS. It's reality, and I don't know what could possibly be done to change it. Personally, I don't get season tickets so that I can sell them for profit, but when I can't make it to a game, I'll sell them to whoever I please. On occasion I've even brought friends who are opposing fans. If anyone thinks I'm part of the problem, I'll say again as I've said before, I first bought my seasons while living five states away, in the Chan Gailey era. Even though it was a drop in the ocean, I wanted to do my part to keep the team in Buffalo. What's also funny to me is that we celebrate our world-class tailgating, but then get pissy when non-Bills fans show up to check it out.
  13. The Bills have a "scalpers first" policy? I don't understand. Please enlighten me.
  14. Oh, don't you worry. I know I'll do my part.
  15. We're in the corner by the tunnel on the Bills side, 12 rows back. Wouldn't trade it for anything. Half of the amazing plays happen right in front of us (CJ's KO return v the Fish, Sammy's first career TD, Johnny Eightball getting pasted by KW).
  16. That's not fair. I have many friends who sit in the clubs. They are boring, yes, but not snobbish. Like eball, for instance.
  17. The thing I don't like about the 300s is that the wind is awful up there in bad weather. And I prefer not to sit in bleachers.
  18. 78 is the greatest number of all time. Not only does it belong to Bruuuuce, it's also the year I was born.
  19. Outstanding. I will be there rocking my blue #78 jersey (which is my go to anyway).
  20. Also, wasn't Pilot Field (or whatever the hell it's called now) originally built with expansion into an MLB-sized stadium in mind?
