At first I was pretty ambivalent about this new policy. But now that I see how many of the media chuckleheads and posters here have their knickers in a twist over it, I'm beginning to like it more and more.

Intellectually, it makes perfect sense. The human body isn't meant to throw a baseball at 95 MPH or jump out of an airplane either. But he has to know what a sh#tstorm a comment like that is going to create when all people want to hear is soundbites. Some media training and/or better in-house PR may be what the doctor ordered.

Especially some media magnates feeling cranky that they're no longer allowed to simply periscope OTAs, count incomplete passes and then eat and drink on the Bills' dime.

I don't know the nature of those "relationships" the Bills have, but I wouldn't say scalping is good or bad, it just IS. It's reality, and I don't know what could possibly be done to change it. Personally, I don't get season tickets so that I can sell them for profit, but when I can't make it to a game, I'll sell them to whoever I please. On occasion I've even brought friends who are opposing fans. If anyone thinks I'm part of the problem, I'll say again as I've said before, I first bought my seasons while living five states away, in the Chan Gailey era. Even though it was a drop in the ocean, I wanted to do my part to keep the team in Buffalo. What's also funny to me is that we celebrate our world-class tailgating, but then get pissy when non-Bills fans show up to check it out.
