Took a quick gander at some Ravens boards yesterday to see if there was any reaction to Tyrod's deal. Not a lot of reaction, they're mostly positive and happy for him. But it looks like Ravens fans expect this to be a big matchup, with Tyrod coming back, the chance to make a statement.

Maybe? I guess? But that gets back to my previous post and how we can't possibly know all the internal motivations here.

The last thing I'm saying is that Tyrod was dumb to sign this. I'm just saying it seems didn't negotiate hard for every last cent, either because he didn't have the leverage, or believed in a team-friendly approach, some combination of the two, or other factors the public is not aware of.

Of course not. But, it can be argued he left money on the table. Bottom line, it doesn't look like either side got greedy here, and that can only mean good things for upcoming roster moves.

That's how most of those broadcasting guys work. Doesn't matter if they're our local yokels or the national guys. As long as you have a HOT TAEK people will talk, positive or negative, and that's what pumps program directors' (and advertisers') nads. What I've never understood about Cowherd is how somebody with such a reedy voice made it so far in radio. And now he's on tv, so we get the full sensory experience of his reedy sneer. Anyway, I subscribe to the notion that if Cowherd is crapping on you, you must be doing something right. So now I like the Tyrod deal even more.

I can't believe Cowherd took time away from sh#tting on Dominican ballplayers to actually talk about our lowly Buffalo Bills. Guys, we have arrived.
