    [shrugs] In this case, I value what my friend has to say. He's a WNY native and likes the Bills too, and cares about their success. He's just lived in ATL now for most of his life and has fully embraced the Falcons.

    No idea. I know the RCW Foundation's focus will be primarily on making charitible grants in Detroit and Buffalo. I get what you're saying though. I'm certainly not putting Ralph on a cross over this. Keeping his name on the place for a year-plus was a nice period of respect, but business is business.

    Took a quick gander at some Ravens boards yesterday to see if there was any reaction to Tyrod's deal. Not a lot of reaction, they're mostly positive and happy for him. But it looks like Ravens fans expect this to be a big matchup, with Tyrod coming back, the chance to make a statement.

    Maybe? I guess? But that gets back to my previous post and how we can't possibly know all the internal motivations here.

    The last thing I'm saying is that Tyrod was dumb to sign this. I'm just saying it seems didn't negotiate hard for every last cent, either because he didn't have the leverage, or believed in a team-friendly approach, some combination of the two, or other factors the public is not aware of.
