Good for him. Sounds like a great gig for a trainer, pretty much top of the heap.

Like Bill Burr said after our loss a few weeks ago, does he think things are “fixed”? No. But they are “massaged.”

Hard to beat the Chiefs and the refs every post-season

Bill Burr this week said he doesn’t feel the games are rigged, but they are massaged. -
I’m fine. I learned a long time ago to not waste too much energy on ***** I can’t control. I give myself 24 hours to mope over sports-related disappointment and then move on. It does do my heart good to see how many people far removed from BillsMafia are howling about the questionable calls. Plenty of people are bitching on our behalf. Saw a funny clip of Bill Burr on Rich Eisen’s show saying he doesn’t think things are “fixed” but they definitely get “massaged.”

I have a new guitar arriving this week. In the back of my mind I knew I’d have that as my little thing to look forward to this week if the game turned out the way it did. Gotta find the joy where we can.

Baker seems to have reached his final form, “Brett Favre but S*#tty.”

Across WNY, the McDermott pitchforks are being taken out of their closets to be cleaned and oiled. -
“Rudolph ain’t got sh** on me!”
-
Pitchforks and torches with McDermott’s name on them are slowly being returned to their sheds. Until next time we go down a score.

My opinion of him hasn’t really changed, I’m just glad he had enough success early on to buy himself time to get into a good groove. I’ve always looked at the Steelers as the model of consistent success. Stable ownership and only four head coaches in like 60 years, and Tomlin’s never had a losing season. When we hired him, I didn’t know if he’d be the next Mike Tomlin (W&M teammates aside), but I knew that the next Mike Tomlin wouldn’t be a splashy name, rather a smart young guy who has earned and is getting his first HC gig. And if you hit it right (along with QBs) your coaching staff and thus entire franchise can be a stable, consistent, winning unit for 20+ years. So far so good. An AFC title and a Lombardi are the only things left that would really cement it.

One week at a time. Enjoy the ride.

Random talking head says something about the Bills

Now here’s a guy who has issues with Chris Collinsworth. -

McDermott’s Post Game speech deserves its own thread

Yup. I was barely a teenager during the Super Bowl runs, young and dumb and just thought “well of course your team just goes to the championship every year, this isn’t special.” Not so much. Savor what you can while you can. -

Cooper says he plans to play Sunday with a cast!
jimmy10 replied to Einstein's topic in The Stadium Wall
You guys don’t get it. Cooper just doesn’t have that killer instinct man. He’s weak. Now excuse me while I pull a groin muscle getting off the couch to get my uber eats cheeseburgers. -
Good west coast sushi is worlds apart from anything I’ve found in WNY. Part of it is city size/population, but part of it is also proximity to the pacific where so many of those yummy fish live.

Tom Brady post-game interview of Josh Allen, his "favorite QB"
jimmy10 replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nah, I know anyone on this forum feels like punching themselves for saying it, and I sure do, but he’s a solid color commentator. Romo’s insights were good but the overdone enthusiasm got old real quick. Every single play isn’t to decide a championship. Chris “Now Here’s a Guy” Collinsworth is just a dunderhead, now responsible for shoving his dunderhead son in all our faces. Brady is way more even keeled than those numbnuts. -
Yeah, he’s definitely not a high strung guy. His demeanor at his draft press conference I think told us all we need to know about his personality. Chill and funny, seems like a genuine good dude.
-
I thought he went over and patted Woolen on the helmet after the TD. But they were definitely going back and forth giving each other the business prior to that. Seemed like good-natured ***** talking to me.

This is stupid. Feeling better and better about telling the team to take their PSL and shove it. -
These doofuses in ATL always fall apart when it matters.
