Bolster our defense w/ our 8th pick, maybe w/ a LB. For the 2nd & 3rd rounds, get a QB to groom & continue filling holes on Def/Offense. We're not going to win many games this year anyway, so use that to our advantage to get our franchise QB in next year's draft. End of story.

But none on these guys are worth a #1. Two years later we're back to searching for our franchise QB. Plus we had to give up other high draft picks in 2014 & maybe 2015. If I'm going to go QB in the first pick overall, his talent is going to be on a par w/ Kelly, or Luck, or both Mannings. Picking a QB #1 overall in this draft would be a repeat of the movie Groundhogs Day staring Mike Williams. (Remember him we picked at #3 overall?)

Should the Bills trade up to #1.....and get what? Plus give away future draft picks that we really need in the future?

I'm going to assume its a Bill. Outside of the Bills, it could be a lot of people. So, I'm going to say....Todd Collins. I kind of remember hearing some of those things when we drafted him.

Thanks Bill for posting. Yeh Kapernick doesn't even look like a rookie to me. Great tools & a heck of an arm. Ironically, I remember last Feb during the combine, Chis Brown (of Bills.com) was real high on this guy. He mentioned him a few times over the ensuing weeks leading into the draft. Wasn't he still on the board when we picked in round 2?

Until W's on the field are being produced, its all for naught. Remember "Football is a tough game played by tough people"? Then he predominately called a pass play on 3rd & short all this past season!!!
