  1. Agree on your Gruden take. I think he's in love with him self, also.
  2. A great post! But don't forget guys like Ted Savage & Jerry Rimer for the Bisons. I remember listening to the Bison games over the radio & when a foul ball would come up over the back stop at Offerman, you could hear it banging around up near the press boxes over the airwaves. Yeh, the "International League" because the had a team in Toronto, as well as in Havana, the "Sugar Kings".
  3. A big +1 on that, Jim!!
  4. Good analysis. But over the next 4 games, I say win the 2 home games,(yeh we have KC, but its at the Ralph man) and beat somebody on the road if you want to be relevant. Pittsburgh looks like the best chance for that. JMO.
  5. +1 on that.
  6. Ridiculous isn't it?
  7. Yup. Virtually took control of the Bills D from the last half of the 4th quarter on. His strip-sack iced for the Bills. Way to go, Mario!
  8. Huge game for him. Good post by the way. He deserves the props.
  9. Canadian Bills Fan, great post. And thanks for putting it on the board. You know, Canada has been a big part of the happiest times of my life. I grew up in Niagara county & we could pick up Canadian TV stations on our black & white TV out of Toronto & Hamilton. (I'm part of the Baby Boomer generation, to give you a sense of time here.) My brother and I loved watching CFL football games back then. Moving the clock ahead a few decades, I live in Va. & as a history teacher, I would, many times, spend part of my summer vacations enjoying myself up in Montreal & Quebec City. The Comedy Festival each July in Mont. was a blast! Lots of fun along Rue Ste Denis. But Quebec to me was the place I really loved. Felt like I was in a small city in France, but didn't have to go across the ocean to experience it. That, coupled with the history of Old Quebec, felt like I was home. When I got married, spent my honeymoon in Quebec. Fantastic. My wife had never been to Quebec, and she loved it too. Now I'm retired from teaching, for 5 years now, and one of my hobbies is reenacting. I belong to a couple of French & Indian War units, and guess what my portrayal is? Yeh, you guessed it, a Canadian hunter/trapper. With one unit, I'm a milician (militiaman in English) and the other unit, based in Vermont, a Canadian ranger in Compagnie de Langis. Named after a GREAT Canadian fighter, Jean Baptiste de Langis.. A lot of people in the U.S never heard of him, because he gets overshadowed by Rogers' Rangers so much in the U.S. But de Langis & his men bested Rogers everytime they clashed. And they clashed often. So how does this have anything to do with your post. Well, you gave kudos to many Bills fans, as I'am one, for your experiences travelling to The Ralph & watching Bills games over the years. Well, Canada & Canadians has been a very strong & positive part of my life too. So I thought this would be a good time to express that to you.......and last but not least, GO BILLS!!
  10. How do I join Gilmore's Club???
  11. Love your prognostication. Go Bills!
  12. Its a long season. After around 10-11 games in, these guys that got off to a great start don't have the fresh legs they had earlier in the season. Their knees have taken a lot of hits by then, and they're just not as fast/mobile as they were in the opening weeks. After say, Thanksgiving, I think their sack numbers will tail off. That's my take on it anyway. Lets see how it plays out.
  13. I agree w/ getting the ball to Chandler more. I'd like to see them using him in a tight screen pass now & then. I think it would be really effective against a team that bltzes a lot & it would take some pressure off EJ (or whoever they're going to have in EJ's absence.) RWR, and I have 0 warning points (whatever that means)
  14. +1 baby. Wow,great research. Do you work in accounting?
  15. Boomer, my prayers go out to your father & the whole Berman family. (Maybe the Bills will "circle the wagons" & get a win for you today:)
  16. Fouts should give some good insight on EJ. Looking forward to his 2 cents. Go Bills!
  17. I have to disagree here. One of the best quotes Andre Reed told a TV media guy back in the day about Buffalo's "K- Gun" offense was: "It's all about execution." And then he went on briefly about when the ball is snapped, all 11 players are executing properly the play Kelly called at the LOS. I agree w/ MDFan. it's all about execution. On a side note, though, I do think they should slow down the offense occasionally just to change things up on opposing defenses a bit. That's my opinion, anyway. Go Bills1
  18. Amen to that! I remember that from a few years ago & that's exactly what they did! Lead by Ray Lewis on that play. I think the coaching staff/ or some of the vets on the Bills ought to show that on film for extra motivation. Just my opinion. Go Bills!
  19. Agree about Hackett. He's over his head. I hate to say it, but he needs to study some of last year's film of how Chan used CJ in getting him out into open spaces to move the ball down the field, as well as Chan's play-action & screen pass variations. That's my 2 cents, anyway. Go Bills!
