  1. A sandwich shop in my area has made a special submarine sandwich about the Bills. It's called the "Sub-500." Its stacked w/ lots of bologna, and it'll be available through the 2014 season.
  2. Yeh, it was a joke. I know Bulloch said something like: "Take the steam out of their sails." What an idiot.
  3. Me, I'm not real ramped up about the Toronto games. But as long as we're "stuck with it," what about a different tactic? Schedule that game in Sept. or Oct and get the - - - - thing over with. It's always been in late Nov. or into Dec each year. Well in that time of the season, the Bills need that mojo from Buffalo that they get at the Ralph. Especially this year with playoff implications on the line as in yesterday's game. I'm not convinced that it's impossible to schedule the game that early in the season, what with the Jays & Argonauts games there. The NFL has Monday & Thursday night games, as well as 3 time slots to work in the Sunday game. C'mon, something can be worked out. I think Brandon & the Bills organization should jump on this early to start getting it scheduled earlier in the season Just an idea. Go Bills!
  4. "It ain't rocket surgery." Didn't Hank Bulloch say that?
  5. Don't even talk about this.
  6. Failure to put teams away has been the common denominator all this season. You can talk about player X or player Y, and even coaching. But failure to put teams away is a team malady, offense, defense, special teams. If it hasn't been the offense, its been defense or special teams, and vice versa that couldn't hold the opponent down.. To me, its a classic characteristic of a young team trying to learn how to win. That's where the Bills are this year. Its all part of the "learning curve." On a side not: EJ did all right yesterday. He got us in position to win a couple of times at crucial points in the game. He wasn't perfect, but he got us in position to win more than one time. JMO Go Bills!
  7. Agree. I was on the swim team back in HS and our practices were way more physically demanding than the meets. So w/ a no-huddle or fast pace offense, you get used to it. It drains the defense because they have to react to the plays the offense is running. On a side note, when our D gets a turnover, I'd like to see our O on the field immediately w/ a play that's been already planned before getting onto the field for a quick count & (preferably) a long pass play. JMO Go Bills!
  8. Incredible, isn't it, that there's still some people in the south who are still living in the 1850's. Go Bills!
  9. Thanks for posting this, it makes it clearer for me to understand w/ so many teams in the mix. Go Bills!
  10. The Jets didn't self-destruct on their own. They made big mistakes as a result of the how the Bills played them.
  11. That's right. Gonna pull a Levy-ism here & say, we were considered long shots in 1776. Go Bills!
  12. McKelvin I think has come the farthest.
  13. Got that right. I've seen plenty of times over the years where the Pats got away with plenty of stuff that influenced the outcome of games. They're far from being choir boys, and your right about the media!
  14. Brady won't be sitting if they've locked up hf. We've seen this before.
  15. Ha! LOL jkgobills, thanks for responding. Yeh, I bet your Dad still uses his choice words/expressions at the TV too. Go Bills!
  16. An awesome post! Thanks for posting it, man. Don't worry, you're Dad still watches the Bills with you.
  17. Born & raised in WNY. I'm part of the Baby Boomer generation & started taking an interest in playing sports when the AFL started in 1960. Naturally I've been a Bills fan ever since then. Saw a few games at "the Rock Pile" in the 60's & love those championship years the Bills had. Moved away from WNY after college but never moved away from being a fan. Never will, its in my blood. Go Bills!
  18. MC Hammer would disagree w/ you.
  19. Yup, different faces, same result when each November comes. Its incredible!
  20. Ah, you beat me to it. That was the first thing I thought when I saw the topic heading. PS: Didn't Jauron say that during the Great Depression?
  21. Yeh, K-9! Love it man, love it! Although I don't see Buffalo winning by that much, (by 18 points K-9?) I know its going to be tough for the Chiefs at the Ralph. The fans will be relentless! Going into this game, I am concerned about our QB situation though. I hope Thad is a "go" for Sunday. Love your confidence K-9. I say, 27 - 24 Bills. Lets Go Buffalo!!
  22. Well put, 8and8. This is not the week to be a doubter. Lets go Buffalo!
