  1. He gets the Mike Stratten Award in my book.
  2. Infernus, a big heads up to you for posting this. Robey is one of the bright young players on the rise for our team. I know that 6 - 10, yet again, was not the season any of us wanted. But its guys like him that makes me feel a little better about the future. Go Bills, 2014!!
  3. Crossman retained. Why?
  4. Yeh, maybe we can use that jet-boat to bring fans from Toronto for "Canada Day."
  5. And Newby, it's even wilder during the season. "Fasten your seatbelt."
  6. 714, I agree w/ all of this. The way I see it, #'s 3 & 4 are at the core. Go Bills in 2014. No Excuses!! Thanks Bill from NYC for posting "Thoughts........" all through the season. Go Bills in 2014.
  7. Forget the Atlanta game, it's in the past. It was no more costly than our other 8 loses, be they at The Ralph or on the road. And the NE game is not a "could be" meaningless game. You can't change the past, but you can look to the future & a win for the Bills Sunday will indicate a lot for our future. JMO Go Bills.
  8. I think he was thinking about the classic album by Rod Stewart: "Every Picture Tells a Story."
  9. Good post again, Bill and thanks too. Agree w/ a lot of your points, especially #'s 4 & 10. With #10, a big goal for next year's Bills has to be getting the offense more up to the caliber with the defense. The D has carried the team this year & kept us in many of our games. Coaching on the o side has to be much better in 2014. If that happens, the Bills should have a winning record, and hopefully into the playoffs. Merry Christmas to you Bill, and, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL BILLS FANS. Go Bills!
  10. Yeh, but he may have played his last game at the Ralph. Right!
  11. +1 This, and not being able to put teams away when many chances have been placed right in front of them on a big silver platter, all have been common denominators throughout the season.
  12. dezertbill, good post & thanks for putting it on the board. It does 'put things in perspective' which is important not to lose sight of during these times. And of course, I like how you used history to prove your point! Go Bills!
  13. Yeh, its like a weather forcast. "And for Wednesday ladies and gentleman, we'll finally have gentle temperatures with no more gusty winds."
  14. Our prayers are with you & your wife, Westside. The Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota is know for trying different things for cancer. You may want to try contacting them. I'm not saying they'd have an answer, its just a suggestion. God's speed and hope it works. Excellent Gugny!! EXCELLENT!!!! I wish you a very Merry Christmas!
  15. Good post. It's clear to me that EJ needs to put in extra time with all the receivers, TE's, and running backs, even study film together the rest of this season & during the off-season to reduce this "slow eyes" problem. When I say reduce, I mean right down to nothing. If Drew Brees puts in time on his day off to be sure he gets thing right, so should Mr. Manuel. Go Bills!
  16. That's right, stranger things have happened. It's a funny-shaped ball & it can bounce in strange ways. Go Bills!!!!
  17. Yeh I still care. There's plenty of things to look for in the remaining games, some of which: progression in skills w/ EJ, players still playing hard, especially the veterans, the chase to establish a new Bills sack record (that alone is fun to watch), progress with the other rookies, Woods, Goodwin........will they finish strong to carry that over to next year, the game against Miami, just to name a few. That's what being a fan of your team is about. The fact that the playoff possibility is over now doesn't make the season a waste. Making the playoffs this year was more of a wish by fans than a reality, lets face it. So, for myself, I'm going to enjoy the final games as we move closer to the holidays. On a side note, it would be interesting if someone brought back the Season Predictions thread from the beginning of the season to remind us where we thought the Bills might be for the year. Go Bills!
  18. Pearl, I think it's a move the Bills should make, and soon.
  19. Chan, I didn't allude to that at all. But resorting to sarcasm as a response to my post? I think I'm done with this thread. Go Bills!
  20. Sir, this is not a slam on you or anything, but my take on this is that we have enough issues here with our team. Also, the Jets get far too much preference in the media as it is. NFL Network, for instance, is IN LOVE with that team! Same goes w/ Mike Greenberg on Mike & Mike radio show.
  21. Clearly its a "touchy" subject.
