  1. We got our young guns in place. Let the season begin. Stevie is part of the past, move on.
  2. Great Lakes Brewing Co's "Burning River Pale Ale" is good. You can get it at Topps and I find that it pairs well with watching the Bills.
  3. Grew up in WNY & loved getting a pro team (AFL) in Buffalo. Got to support the home team, man. They're playing for us. This came at a time when my interest skyrocketed in playing games in the neighborhood, football, basketball, baseball. Had some of the greatest times in memory playing football with my buddies during the fall in WNY. Doing that gave me a deep love & appreciation for those who play the game at the pro level. Therefore, most of that passion went to the guys who put on the Bills uniform to play the game. Its a great game & the guys who have the athleticism to play at the NFL level is great to watch. That's my 2 cents, anyway.
  4. Good idea, here. My vote would be: anything by New Geeks (kids) on the Block. Color Me Bad was pretty pathetic, too. I almost forgot, " Maccarena"
  5. I believe that linebacker was Arthur Moats.
  6. I remember Riley's comments in that documentary. Thought he was unnecessarily superficial & a total wise - a- -.
  7. Always a special day for me. I salute all that have severed, from the Rev. War on... No pun intended. From a former Sgt. in the Air Force. RWR
  8. If you're a Bills fan, has to be the 60's and 90's. The 90's speak for themselves. But back in the 60's, you had a different ball player. You had a different fan base as well. Most of those players in the 60's did play mainly for the love of the game. Very few got "rich" playing it. The stadium experience was way different in the 60's too. K-9, what do you think?
  9. Awesome! Awesome news! Congratulations Van, you deserve it. Anytime I think of a great moment in Bills history, Van's voice is linked to it. Way to go.
  10. That's what he gets for smoking herb from 1992!!! "Word to your motha "
  11. Hey, happy birthday, John. Yesterday was my birthday, believe it or not. Keep up the good work John & enjoy your day. RWR Happy birthday John. Yesterday was my birthday, believe it or not. Keep up the good work & enjoy your day!
  12. Who said anything about VHS?
  13. I can live w/ the schedule too. It is what it is. Until we start beating teams "we're not supposed to beat" and start posting above-500 seasons, none of this matters anyway.
  14. Yeh, all 3 games that day are NFC match ups. Do you believe that? I'm not a big NFC fan. So I'll pull out one of my favorite Bills games & play that while I relax after my Thanksgiving meal. (I'll watch good football one way or another on Thanksgiving!)
  15. No need to apologize, John. But it always shows strong character anyway. Sometimes there's too much negativity on this board.
  16. Yup. This stuff has been in the Pro Football HOF for years.
  17. yes, that is the bottom line
  18. +1 Well put. This is more the spirit of my post, not anything about Boston.
  19. Yup. Probably shouldn't have used a cliché. Clearly it touched a nerve.
  20. With all the documentaries/stories recently on TV with the anniversary of the Boston bombing, I got thinking, "What would Bills fans say their concept of 'Buffalo Strong' be?" Clearly the Bills are a vital part of the civic fabric of the city. Moreover, with the recent passing of the only owner the Bills have ever had, along with Kelly's recurrence of cancer, we Bills fans have kind of fallen on some tough times. So with that, lets go with our version of "Buffalo Strong." Fire away.
  21. I'm going to go with Eric Wood. Is a beast at his position. Plays a key position on offense, and is one of the team leaders. Although some of the recent draft picks, Dareus, Alonzo, & Woods to name a few, show lots of promise, Wood has been battling in the trenches for several years now and has really shown his worth. Go Bills
  22. I'll re-watch a Bills game if they win. If they win a key game, I'll keep it. Love seeing the Bills get those W's! But for me it's more that that. Watching football being played at the NFL level is really something special. The skill & athleticism to play at that level is something very few people can do. So seeing a well executed play to the point where it results in a win is really great entertainment to me. That's good stuff. Go Bills!
