  1. Thanks Bocephuz for doing the research. Good info.
  2. I agree with you, pal. Losing to the Giants & Jags while getting 30+ points hung on you with multiple penalties & getting hammered by the Bengals is far from "genius". Yea, the EJ meltdown didn't help, but the Bills had the lead in that one in the 4 th qtr and his "genius" defense didn't stop them when they had to. And what, his genius defense takes at least 7 games into the season to start getting it right? Too much of the season is gone by, by that time, except with a team that's just plane starting from scratch. And that's not the Bills here. I like your points Allen. No doubt Jason Taylor's remarks are encouraging, but we're going to have to go on a tear here to have a legit shot for a Wild card spot. That's my 3 cents at least.
  3. Agree. It is hard to predict which team will show up. Frustrating!!! Rex has got the D doing such screwy things, they're not even close to the dominating level they were last year. The offense is inconsistent, and the special teams is a mess this year. Factor in double digit penalties and/ or several bone-head penalties and it can look like a fire drill gone bad out there. That being said, I'm hoping the by-week has helped cleared some people's heads, injured guys now are back in the fold, and they've smoothed some things over with all 3 units. We'll see soon enough when the fish are at the Ralph this Sunday. As for me, I'll be cautiously optimistic while I keep my fingers crossed for the rest of the season. Go Bills.
  4. "Dazed and Confused" Led Zepplin "Insane in the Membrane" (don't know the name of the group)
  5. True, and have the offense eat clock in getting those 7 pts. (keep Brady off the field.) With defense & special teams creating turn overs & better yet, scoring pts as well. All three units have to be assets, not liabilities, the Pats will make you pay for those mistakes. That's my 2 cents anyway.
  6. As in the Jeff Beck album from the late 60's?
  7. Todd Collins was drafted to be Kelly's replacement.
  8. Our pleasure, Bill. My wife & I will continue to pray for yours, and your family's good health and happiness. Yeh, D linemen dropping back into coverage? As Jimbo asks: Didn't we get these guys to crush the QB? Anyway, God bless you, Bill, and Go Bills in London!
  9. Good news!!! Thanks for letting us know & we'll continue to pray for him & all of the family. Go Bills in London!
  10. This is all about Rex's ego. That's his stamp. He has this, "there's a new sheriff in town, and he's me" attitude. Thus all the blustering & big promises before the season, and the insistence that it's the player's fault. Never mind that the D was dominant last year, I have a better way. Really Rex? How's that working through 6 games?
  11. Amanda, my wife & I will definitely pray for him! We're sorry to hear the news and we hope he recovers soon. Stay strong and no, your post is not inappropriate. Go Bills and Go Bill!
  12. Agree, good points. LOVE the second part of your post! LOL
  13. Agree with clownments feelings with the title of the article. It was worded intentionally to shape opinions, ir-regardless of the facts. And sadly enough, the more people see biased titles, the stronger they feel its fact, even without: A . reading the article, or worse yet, B. seeing the game. This is a very, very old tried- and- true tactic of the media, be it written, or over a radio, or stronger still, tv. In a relatively short time, lots of people see a team that's just "undisciplined", "inferior", "a bunch of losers", "dumb".......... (lecture over, you get the idea) Go Bills against the Bengals!
  14. Got that right! We're not going to win many more games if this continues. Go Bills!
  15. Agree. I remember discussion on this board a few weeks ago that many posters were convinced that with the number of penalties the Bills were inflicting, the refs will be hyper-vigilant in throwing the flag on them. I think the word is out.
  16. That would make too much sense. Therefore, the owners wouldn't approve it.
  17. Yes, much like the Ravens did holding up Scott Chandler as they stripped him of the ball several years ago.
  18. I don't think they'll do that. But I do see a pattern starting to develop. The 2 games now where the Bills drew way over double digit penalties, has been when Rex was being out-coached! (Past & Giants) When a team is getting 10+ penalties in a game, that's lack of discipline, and that's on the coach. Actually I think it was around 2012. I remember Steve Johnson had a big day in that game.
  19. Interesting, 1975. Bills beating the Bengals? No, its not impossible, but if you would care to elaborate, I'd be interested in your take on that. Go Bills
  20. First Quarter is in the books. Titans, Bengals, Jags, Fish, what's going to be?
