  1. Copy that! I'm with you pal. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you still feel the itching need to change the D, do it in small increments. One of, just one of the problems of the Bills not winning enough to get in the playoffs is the new coaching regime every 3 yrs. Each new coach wants his own type of offense & defense when he comes in, starts to get players he feels fit that scheme, but 2 - 3 years later, he's canned because of losing seasons, and the cycle starts all over again. Now we got Rex, and here we go again. Frustrating, just frustrating. 16 years, no playoffs, and here we go again!
  2. LOL!!!! Super Bowl? In what year????
  3. Good question, and good example. Clearly there's something a-mis with this guy.
  4. He's sick of playing in Rex's defense. Sorry, that was too easy. Like picking low hanging fruit.
  5. Yes, I recall. I remember putting on that "prediction" post, that they're a 9-7 team. That's where they left off last year, so until proven otherwise, that's who they are. Sadly, the way things look now, they may not get 9 wins!
  6. Moose, what a great post! I'm almost at a loss for words. This was so well done. You know, some of the worst fans I've encountered over the years, were Steeler & Pats fans. Fans whose team have won several Super Bowls! Talk about lost perspective on life! Great post, man. 1
  7. I know what you mean. Yes, I did watch "Four Falls....." and recorded it. But I didn't watch my VHS recording of SB 25 until about 10 years after that game. I thought after all that time, I'd be ok. Not!!! I got as far as the first half, turned it off, and never watched any of them since. I've thrown all 4 of those VHS's away. I knew I'd never be able to watch them. I felt so bad for those guys.
  8. Me too. Tim Rusert's explanation about Dallas & Washington not needing an SB balanced against Buffalo needing one was the start of my losing it. These things and others, the non-Bills fans just don't get.
  9. An amazing coincidence, Fraudian slip, or whatever you want to call it. But mistakenly using "steam" in your title, could mean not only the Bills have run out of steam, for making the playoffs, or that old song by the group, Steam, with the lyrics " na na hey hey, good bye (as in the Bills "good bye" from having a chance for the playoffs). Is that what they call a (excuse the spelling) double entendre? Anyway, gotta have a sense of humor to be a Bills fan. Go Bills in DC. Are you channeling John Belushi from that scene in Animal House? "It ain't over till we say it's over!!!"
  10. Bill, I love this point! Well said, sir. Its frustrating, just downright frustrating isn't it?
  11. I can relate to this, only with teaching history, though.
  12. Yup. That's history for you. Usually, years afterward, perspective on something like this is more accurate because time has a way of filtering out a lot of "junk" that was in people's heads at the time. I know I'm going to watch it. As painful as it was to watch those 4 SB's, I'm proud of the Bills for going! Each year they went, none of the other 14 AFC teams were good enough to go, none, for 4 straight years! PS: not trying to sound like Herm Edwards.
  13. Yup. Go Bills
  14. +1 lol, yes, he says "oops!!!"
  15. O line did a great job yesterday. Way to go fellas.
  16. I noticed the same thing. They practice some through the week on the Ralph turf, but his feet sure seen to slip out from under him, especially so for a WR. Reminds me of that "I've fallen & I can't get up" ad. Pathetic.
  17. Thanks IceBowl. Hopefully we can keep the wins going. Go Bills.
  18. Yup, 2nd half of games, more important than the 1st. Just ask the Lions.
  19. We already had ours: "wide right."
  20. Bills coaches, have a great game plan? You're asking a bit much, aren't you?
  21. I'll say, the Bills win. Only b/c its at the Ralph. On a side note: Bills coaches have no clue.
