  1. Excellent point!! You'd think we would, more to the point, SHOULD be done with it by now. But race issues have been going on in North America for over 400yrs and will probably take another 400 yrs before it starts to go away. Lets just play football.
  2. I'd like to see the Broncos win. It would be fitting to have Peyton go out with a win, then retire. It's time for him to retire. He's been a class act all throughout his career & is a shoe-in for the HOF in 5 yrs. They're going to have a tough, tough time winning against the Panthers though. I pin the biggest hopes for the Broncos on their defense needing to play a lights out game. If the Broncs have to play catch-up all game, it's over. Peyton doesn't have the arm left to have to throw 35+ times to keep pace with Carolina if it boils down to that. Nevertheless, I'll have my chicken wings ready and who knows, hopefully soon we can watch our Bills in, and win, the Super Bowl.
  3. Ahhh youth. Youth should not be wasted on the young, and Marv should have put a bit of a collar on the guys during Super Bowl week to re-direct their attention to why they were there to begin with. She must have taken lessons from Millie-Vanillie.
  4. Agree with your last two sentences particularly. Good observation.
  5. Hey, what about the DC5?
  6. FunPolice, sorry guy EVERYTHING is difficult to Jauron, even combing his hair.
  7. Thanks for the link. I found out by seeing it along the bottom of the tv screen on NFL Network at about 7:15PM.
  8. I don't think this has been posted yet. After the way Brady got pelted like a pinata, I guess they felt they needed to part company with this guy.
  9. Yes, I remember that draft. I really liked Miller. Denver drafted at the #2 spot that year with the Bills at #3. I knew Denver was going to take Miller but I was hoping they wouldn't. But I was good with the Bills taking Dareus because the Bills needed a run-stuffer badly.
  10. On top of that with Brady, in the 2nd half, he would have happy feet back there when there was NO ONE near him. Over the years, I've notice that's been a common denominator with him. You hit him early and often and you're in this guy's head. He gets flustered, his accuracy goes down a notch. He doesn't like to be touched, let alone beat up.
  11. Also, not using the 2 minute offense in the 2nd half. I was surprised by that. All during the regular season, they would use as early as the first quarter even. During half-time I said to my wife, expect a lot of 2-minute drill stuff from the pats this half.......Nada! And I didn't mind a bit.
  12. +1 Yeh, I guess we'll see how much they 'got this' next year. Go Bills.
  13. I told ya! A record 20 hits on Brady, as well as 4 sacks, 2 picks. I love the Bills, but go Broncs in SB 50. PS: Rex, did you take notes????
  14. Vorpma, you know your AFL stuff. I was growing up in Niagara county at the time, in high school. Broke my heart when the Chiefs trounced "our Bills"!!!! I think "we" would have made a good showing against the Pack. I still think our D then was just as good as theirs. I think we could have beaten them, too.
  15. True. I have a hard time believing him anyway since halfway through the season when he turned our defense into a disaster. All the big blustering at his initial press conference was all a ploy to get everyone excited. That's all it was.
  16. God bless you Jimmy, and RIP.
  17. Joe Kapp - Vikings QB back in the 60's. Used to get the snot knocked out of him, but would always get up & call the next play.
  18. Don't underestimate the Bronco D. Go Broncs.
  19. I remember watching the original airing of the game. I was in high school then in WNY and, of course, a Bills fan. I wanted the Chiefs to win so badly.
  20. Way to go Glory Bound! And God bless you too.
  21. God bless you Jim Kelly! Keep going. Go Bills.
  22. Might already been posted, but: John McKay to his players: "They were over there getting ready to drink their champagne, but we'll drink our beer!"
