Agree with the "threatless" viewpoint. Just like that original logo for Tampa Bay. That "buccaneer" looked more like more like a gay actor than a fearsome pirate. Football by nature is an aggressive sport. Having a passive logo makes the team appear laughable.

Until he gets the Bills into the playoffs, he's just a 'bombastic buffoon', a wind bag, a clown, a nothing. After that defensive showing last year ending in an 8 - 8 season, he has no credibility with a lot of us. Nor should he.

Uh, just had this thought, Bill. Would you please consider doing your "Thoughts" post on a part-time, I mean a very part-time, basis? Pretty much, whenever it fits your mood? That way, A. you're not bothered by trying to write notes during the game every week. B. Your posts don't have to be right after the game, they can be during the week. C. The posts could be on just one topic, say, on the coaching, or the offense, the announcing crew..........whatever. D. They certainly don't have to have 10 or more "thoughts". Just a few "thoughts", or just one main "thought." Not trying to sound like some spoiled child. Just trying to maybe plant an idea in your head. At any rate, take care Bill, and, Go Bills!!!

That's correct. When you enlist for military service, you pledge an oath that was written by the DOD. The president's oath is an entirely different oath. I remember clearly taking my oath in Buffalo during the Vietnam War era. Everybody, whether you were going into the Marines, Navy, Air Force (like I did) or Navy & Coast Guard, took the same oath because it was from the DOD. There was about 50 of us all herded into a room. A Marine sergeant read us the oath. We AF guys could go home for a few hours because we didn't have to leave until 9PM out at the Buffalo airport headed for Randolph AFB, Texas. Ahhh the good old days.
