  1. This just in: Mofo faces a 4 game suspension.
  2. True, but we'll see where things go.
  3. This! Include bonehead/ too many penalties per game. I hope it doesn't happen, but these have been common denominators over many seasons now.
  4. Irony of ironies, he goes to the Patriots. That would suck.
  5. Really! With Baltimore just down the pike? Disappointed.
  6. Cripple Creek, welcome to the board.
  7. 7 - 9 Too much has to fall in place to get 10 or 11 wins. I'm not confident that that's going to happen. Nevertheless, Go Bills.
  8. I think we can shore up the TE depth A BIT by seeing what TE's from other teams get cut that they could pick up, and keeping Gronk & coaching him up in the mean time.
  9. Rockpile, thanks for the share. Although I didn't do a scrapbook, I do remember & followed the folding of the USFL. I was like a shark in the water because I knew that when that league folded, Kelly would be ours! I also knew, it was a gut-feeling thing, that once we signed him, he'd find himself loving the city and people of western NY. Not trying to come across like some Nostradomas, but being from WNY, I was pretty sure of that. I agree, the franchise can be tiring. I try to be positive at the start of each season. But these past 16 years have been rediculas. Anyway, I enjoyed the recollection.
  10. Thirty years ago today that the Bills signed Jim Kelly? For me, I was up at Cape Vincent visiting my folks. When I learned that we finally got this guy signed to a contract, that things were about to change for the better for the Bills. For me,there was a sense of relief and excitement. That's just a bit from me, Anybody else care to chip in?
  11. Keep them both away from rubber mats.
  12. Sure glad you put that Manuel stat in there. That clears it up. (Just a little joke, Dr. Sack, and I mean a very little joke.)
  13. Good ol' Leo, he was Buck Wheat in a Bills uni.
  14. "He has none of the virtues I admire, and all of the vices I despise." Marv
  15. I Can Sleep......, you say you can be a LITTLE wordy? I thought I was reading War and Peace going through your post. Shorten it up. Cut to the chase & be more direct. Sorry man, I moved on during the second paragraph.
  16. Ol' "fight on, sir Andrew" himself, Marv. With his eloquence, he would have compsoed the Declaration as well as signed it. Also, Washington would have signed it. Ted that is.
  17. I did. Out of control. All momentum for the Allou's stopped after that.
  18. Yes it was. I remember that quote. In earlier years I knew how to spell his name. Now, I chalk it up to all a part of trying to forget the ugly past.
  19. WotAGuy, thanks for putting the name & the author of the book. I'll check into it.
  20. A. The whole Hank Bullock era. B. All of the Jauron era.
  21. Thanks NtK. I'm jealous, wish I could have been there for that session. Maybe in another lifetime.
  22. What things did Jimbo tell the receivers?
  23. I'll go with Kelly. Best player to ever put on a Bills uniform. The shot in the arm he gave the fanchise when he signed back in '86 was fenominal. And he delivered on the field as well. Plus, he went from not wanting to play for Buffalo when he got drafted, to crediting his returning to the city after his chemo treatments in NYC, for saving his life!
