A good topic, and lots of good points posted. That said, here's my 2 cents, in no particular order. 1. Have no more than 6-7 penalties a game, fewer is better. We're not good enough to keep shooting ourselves in the foot! 2. Better tackling, especially in 1 on 1 situations. 3.A. Tyrod to use the whole field in throwing the ball. B. Tyrod to make more plays in clutch situations in the game. 4. Cardale to have a great Tng camp & preseason so as to really push for the #2 spot. 5. The whole team, offense, defense & sp to make plays in crunch time in games. A lot of those losses will turn into wins. 6. When the offense makes a deep play, go into hurry up when the defense is on their heals & get down field & get a play (preferably a pass play) off. All of this stuff is just good fundamentals, there's nothing special here.

That was just one of the many games the Rex & Rob defense cost us. -
Post Your Schedule Complaints Here

I'm not making any wins & loses this early. But here's a few thoughts: There are several posts here that I think fans feel doom is coming because of the last month. But I feel that it's hard to see how things might play out at this time. Things I'm looking at is, we have a better head coach this year than last year. It's time for Tyrod to up his game at his position, especially in clutch situations. That's very likely to happen. I think there will be some players, that will surprise us and really step up their play. We haven't seen how Ragland can play at the pro level, but I think he'll be an asset, not a liability. Coach McD's motivation skills as well as coaching skills will be especially tested from the Chiefs game onward. Who knows how a lot of these teams might do this year. The 2016 Panthers were a far cry from the 2015 version for instance. That's it. -

Ya know, in a sick way, I kind of like that idea. -
Without seeing the schedule yet, I'll post a few complaints we see each year. Might as well get'm out of the way. Why does NE get a 10 day rest before playing us? Why does NE get a by week before playing us? Bummer, we have to play in the Miami heat in December! There's a start. Add yours as you feel needed.

Absolutely. A heads up move. It probably saved more lives. -

So true. But I sure hope those youngsters (there's an old phaert expression for you) don't give up on the Bills. I would say, emotionally and psychologically, K-9. -

Maybe you don't know some of the details of how it went down. I was applauding the state troopers for catching up with and cornering him! He shot himself when he was cornered. Re read the title of my post. Again, I applaud the troopers for finding him!!! -

Yes, but in Bills-fan years, with all the misery we go each year, you're 105. -

Anyone nervous about our new defensive scheme (Pats)
RevWarRifleman replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What the heck, I'll throw in my 2 cents. A. We're a long way from competing w/ the Pats. But some key things the Bills could do that I think would help: B. For McD & his D & O coordinators, be able to adjust on the fly all throughout the game. BB has done this for years. C. This year, Tyrod is going to have to up his game & improve more as a qb. He still misses spoting wide open guys, and doesn't throw to the middle of the field enough, and needs to come up big in big moments in the game. D. For the Bills defense, just putting it generally here, slow down Brady "as much as you can." Their offense revolves around him ( as well it should) so just try to hold them, say, under 25 points. Easier said than done, I know. E. Bills, keep your penalties under 7 for the game. The Pats are good at capitalizing on their opponent's mistakes. Plus, the penalty thing is a jab at Rex. That's it coach McD. Go get'em. -

the bandit 27 has a good post. It appears to me that "the Bills are moving" paranoia has reared its ugly head again with the 2 west coast teams moving. Relax, fear not Bills fans. The "Bills are going to move" boogy man is not out and about. -
Bills want "success" before building new stadium
RevWarRifleman replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thanks Chan. Perhaps we need to get a Shamen, or Spirit Chief and do a ceremony to cleans the area. Who knows, it might end our playoff drought. -

The Indian burial ground, is that a joke or has it actually been proven? -
Grew up in Niagara County. Was in middle school & started getting into sports when the Bills arrived in 1960. All the guys on our street were fans also & would get together and run pass routes against one another. We would pretend we were either Ernie Warlick or Glenn Bass & the guy throwing was, of course Kemp. That was a long, long time ago, but even now, I live & die on each play when I watch them. Two of those guys I threw passes to were my next door neighbors, brothers. Their both gone, one from an accident, the other of natural causes. Couple of other buddies got in trouble w/ the law when they grew up and I have no idea where they are now. But we stayed Bills fans all the way through.
