  1. Offseason Patriot Ha! Been a Bills fan since 1960. I'll also be reenacting French Indian War. Let the good times role.
  2. Reenacting. I'm retired. Will be vacationing out of the country later this year. "Can't wait"! Go Bills.
  3. Good job this season for the Bills. Even today's game was competitive down to the end and the future looks good. Fill in some holes on offense, starting with the OC and a few spots on defense and were good to go.
  4. Nothing personal Yolo, but I don't care what nfl.com thinks.
  5. For me, I have the play for offense, not sure yet for defense & st, but I thought I'd throw this out there to see what some of you may have. Offense: Shady's overtime TD run in the snow bowl against the Colts. A gutsy performance by the Bills, and if they didn't win that one, I doubt they'd be in the playoffs.
  6. Thanks for posting Proto. I could watch that a thousand times. Oh wait, I already have. ok, 2000 times.
  7. I must have been more fuzzy-headed this morning than I thought. I referred to our coach as coach McDowell rather than McDermott. Oh well.
  8. Last time the Bills were in the playoffs was: Here goes nothin, & I do mean nothin. 1. Dinasaours stil roamed parts of the earth. 2. Cell phones were as large as shoe boxes. 3. Roy Moore was cruisin the Twin Fair store in Lockport looking for "a date." (See # 1 above.) 4. A "super bowl" was something George Carlin did before going on stage. 5. The British still had possession of Fort Niagara. 6. The Rockpile was still................well, The Rockpile. 7. Rex Ryan was a 6th grader picking his nose in science class. (again, see #1) 8. A Super Bowl had a different meaning at SUNY New Palz. Told ya it was nothin. Congratulations coach McDowell and the Buffalo Bills! This feels great!!
  9. Renovate again? They just got done. This stadium has had more face lifts than Joan Rivers!
  10. Definately agree. Predicting next year's results on this year's results. Pretty rediculous.
  11. A great post by Shaw66. I think we all knew that winning yesterday up there was a tall order to say the least. Would have been for 98% of the rest of the NFL. When we get more talent in a number of places on the team, things will start going our way more. Recall if you will the early 90's when we had our best talent ever. If something happened against us that seemed at the time devastating, somebody else on that team rose up & made a play. We should be getting a big gain in the talent department next year. We better! And with that, we will be able to come at our opponents from more ways/schemes. We've come a long way this year. Farther than a lot of "experts" and fans, me included, thought they would. So enjoy our game next week, see how things fall in regards to a wild card spot, and by all means Bills fans, have a merry Christmas and a happy new year!
  12. Another enjoyable post, Virgil. I thought it was a great character win for the team. Go Bills.
  13. Watching the highlights of this Bills win brought back some great memories for me of playing the game in WNY snow! It just added another dimension to paying it. Be it collegiate or pickup game in the neighborhood, or even an NFL game, what's your favorite memories of a snow game you've been in, or watched. Feel free to include the CFL if you wish.
  14. Broncos at the Rockpile, Sept. 1966. Loved it. Great atmosphere.
  15. Rigotz, I agree. To renovate the house, you have to tear down a bit before you can rebuild. The "house" after Rex got through was a mess! (Thanks Pagulas) I, and a lot of others on this board, were not predicting this team to get 6 wins (I had them at 3 to 5 wins). Now, they have a good shot at 8-8 or 9-7. Not a bad foundation from which to build on, as well as the number of picks in rounds 1 thru 3. It's a good foundation in which to build on. With that, I was surprised to see the number of people yesterday who were so angry that we lost to the Pats. Really? The Pats, who have reeled off 9 straight wins? Really?
  16. You're right, Virgil. Hoodie loves the mind games. On a side note, I'd like to know your take on how the Bills might be able to win this game. I enjoy your post-game diagnostics. Got any ideas?
  17. "Wide right" game takes it for me. There's no others that compare.
  18. Yeh that's nice Tre, but do your talking with your play on the field. We'll see how you're talking by 4:30 Sunday afternoon. Go Bills!
  19. BadLands, great job and thanks for putting all this together!
  20. It's a good thing none of the Gramatica brothers are in the NFL anymore.
  21. Yup, the McKelvin kick off fumble. Far and away the most frustrating. All's he had to do after he caught it was fall down & protect the ball. Game over!
  22. Thanks Ice. The KC win feels great!! I was seriously wondering if we would win another game this year the way the previous 3 games went. The Pack gave the steelers all they could handle. I was hoping the Pack would lay a L on the "stillers." Good luck the rest of the way.
