Fort Niagara when I was a youth. Loved the trip, but the history of it literally got me hooked with American history in that era. Another museum, the Ann Frank House in Amsterdam, Holland. I went there when I was on leave in the Air Force. This museum has had a profound impact on me! When the tour guide took us up the stairs where the Frank family stayed, I could only IMAGINE the terror the Frank family had as those Nazi troopers rushed in on that fateful night!!! You can still see the pencil marks on the wall where Mr Frank measured the kids height each year. And when our group were there, listening to the tour guide, he church bell sound because it was twelve noon. That's the same church bell that Ann wrote about in her diary, and how it gave her inspiration and calmness in such terrible circumstances!! That's my 2 cents. Go Bills!!!

What's that website that shows the colorized regions in the country what areas will see what games? In the meantime, "Go Bills"!!

Ahhh, Bills fan 69, good post. I was in 6th grade when the AFL was created and was DELIGHTED when I learned that Buffalo was going to have a team in that league! I loved watching our team on those old black & white TV's we had back then! And when the Bills won those 2 Championship in 1964 & 65 I was on cloud 9 for days & days afterward. Now I'm in my mid 70's and still "Live and Die" on each snap of the ball when the Bills are on offence. BF619, good post, and "Go Bills"!!!

I'm in need of a printable Bills schedule for this season. For the first time in years, and years, I could not find one on the internet anywhere that included the start time of the game as of eastern standard time. Anybody got one or know where I can go search for one that has this? It's kind of a fun "tradition" my wife and I like to do as the season goes along. I would be very grateful for any assistance. Thank you and GO BILLS!!!!

THE AUTOMOBILE, far & away had the biggest impact of all time! It was a global phenominon (sorry for the spelling) that's still going on today. It impacted on our society on many, many, fronts. It impacted on the steel industry, the oil industry, commercial farming as well as private farming, road construction, the hotel and motel busineses, tourism, even the fast food business. The list goes on and on, longer than I have the time to post on this topic. That machine provided millions and millions of jobs for a lot of people.

Rolonzo, if you like Jeff Beck (God rest his soul) Buy the Jeff Beck "Truth" disk from the album he produced back in 1969. Rod Stewart did the vocals with Ron Wood on bass. The album was given to me from a guy that roomed next to me in 1971 when I was in the the Air Force. I played Led Zepplin so much, he thought that I'd like Jeff Beck as well. Boy, was he right!! Check out the Truth album, if you haven't done it already. Rest in peace, Jeff! (PS: the song "Beck's Bolero" really rocks!!)

My God, what a great thread!!!! I went through high school in the 60's and these songs I remember dearly. It was a "fast" decade because so many things were changing & the rock music was at the head of those changes. Rebellion was the thing. I grew up in Western NY so naturally, I'm a Bills fan. But, for my senior year in baseball, I painted my spikes white as a tribute to the rebellious Joe Namath. Go Bills!!!!

In short, I'm starting to think that coach McD and staff and the front office is good at getting the Bills into the playoffs, but can't get the Bills to the Super Bowl, let alone win it. FWIW, that's my 2 cents.

Got that right SBF. This "gun happy" country, where FAR too many people have access to firearms and therefore, they think that the only justice when they don't like something/or somebody, then that's a just reason that they should be shot. Sick! It's very sick!

Sad. The level of violence in this country is very disturbing!!!

A very good opening to the thread, Hoof Hearted. For whatever it's worth, I say lets (meaning, the players) regroup, support one another fiercely, work harder in practice, and bring a new intensity level onto the playing field come Sunday and expect to win. FWIW, that's my 2 cents. Go Bills!
