  1. Look at this (courtesy of pro-football-reference.com): Trent: 38 games, 4 fourth quarter comebacks, 5 game winning drives (none since age 25) Kolb: 34 games, 4 fourth quarter comebacks, 3 game winning drives TJack: 52 games, 3 fourth quarter comebacks, 4 game winning drives (none since age 25) Trent actually looked pretty good until he got his bell rung. And he probably had the worst teams to play with among the three.
  2. Where does Alex Van Pelt come out in all of this?
  3. Verbatim transcript from NFL Network broadcast: Rich Eisen: The pick is in. Do you think it's going to be Geno Smith? Brian Billick: No, God, I think that just becomes a mess. Oh my God. You take two defensive guys, you've done nothing to help the offense, now you're going to bring in the second round a quarterback, with Mark Sanchez's issues? You might as well just blow it up right now. Mike Mayock: And the other thing is I look at their roster, Coach, I only see 6 offensive linemen on their roster right now. They couldn't even go out there and play 7 on 7. At some point they've got to start filling in some linemen to block for Sanchez. Rich Eisen: And it's a fan favorite from Hofstra that is at the Commissioner's side to make the pick. Roger Goodell: To announce the New York Jets' selection, please welcome, from Hofstra University, an undrafted free agent in 1995, wide receiver Wayne Chrebet. Wayne Chrebet: With the 39th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the New York Jets select Geno Smith. Rich Eisen: Oh, did they go ahead and do it! Oh my lord! And Tebow's still on the roster! Let the good times roll, baby! Oh, there's not enough space on back pages for this one! What does it mean? What does it mean? If we could only have a camera on Mark Sanchez right now! (Pictures of Jets fans in shock, holding their heads, booing, thumbs down. And a New England fan in a Welker jersey with a huge smile on his face) Rich Eisen: Look at this guy, he is stunned silent.
  4. There should still be some surprisingly good QB prospects in the 4th and 5th rounds. Should the Bills come back and take a Kirk Cousins-like pick in order to develop an insurance policy as well as some genuine competition at QB?
  5. With the Revis trade, the Jets pick up another first rounder. Now, the Jets will have 3 picks between Buffalo's first round pick and its second. Does this force the Bills to take a QB in the first round? Discuss.
  6. 2005 - Losman/Holcomb (5 wins) 2001 - Van Pelt/R. Johnson (3 wins) 1997 - T. Colins/Van Pelt (6 wins) 1985 - Ferragamo/Mathison (2 wins) Any other questions?
  7. Wow, until I saw this I thought I had only dreamed about the Kolb acquisition. Nightmare. I can't believe he's #1 on the depth chart.
  8. Sounds more like a Jets move. They could reunite him with Aaron Maybin.
  9. You meant copyrighted. There's a difference between copyright and copywrite. Did you ever notice that overlook and oversee are almost complete opposites? Did you ever notice that park on the driveway but you drive on the parkway?
  10. Nope. http://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/napolean-outlaw-1.html
  11. Mingo should be very popular with Western NY's Italian-American fans
  12. He played college ball at Cincinnati when I was a student there. Always liked his name.
  13. I think Barkevious Mingo is a lock to be drafted by the All Name Team. Team captain D'Brickashaw Ferguson has been lobbying the front office to get him. After last year's draft of Johnson Bademosi, the ANT is looking for another stellar draft in 2013. Still many open roster spots. Who should be on the team?
  14. The most amazing thing about this is that people actually pay money to have access to these mock drafts. The rest of us just wait until one of the fools who pays for it posts the details here, then we get to waste our time reading it for free.
  15. Very hard to tell the April Fools Buffalo draft picks from the late-April ones.
  16. -Remarkably heavy feet -Struggles to repeat his mechanics -Constantly locks onto receivers -When he misses, he misses high (more likely to cause interceptions) I'm not sure about Big Ben but to me he sounds like a combination of the worst traits of Trent Edwards and Ryan Fitzpatrick.
  17. If last year in Indy it was "Suck for Luck" then this year in Buffalo it should be "In the well for Manziel"
  18. No quality WR will sign with a team that hasn't got a QB
  19. When I saw this topic, I thought the guy who wrote it is either a genius or a moron. Guess what? The jury has returned a verdict!
