  1. We've been in this position before, so to me they're the 'same old Bills' until they actually get to the playoffs.
  2. Where are they in the playoff hunt? Not in currently? Then the above stats and feel-good 'facts' don't matter. I say this as someone who actually likes looking at these metrics. I'm just tired of 'moral' victories while we sit out every post season.
  3. TIL: Goodwin is responsible for play design. Goodwin is responsible for Tyrod only throwing out routes and fade routes.
  4. 11-5 or bust.
  5. We basically need to win out. Every week is an elimination game.
  6. TT gets quite a bit of time to throw a lot of drop backs, and our running game is one of the best in the league... so I can't really say our line is a major concern (upgrades are always welcome though). For me, it's: - QB - WR depth (Sammy and Woods are good, but apparently we have health issues and nothing behind them) - Safeties (honorary mention to needing a new CB1 when Gilmore leaves) - Coaching We get ourselves a stud QB, and the rest of the problems go away, we have a decently talented team overall. Hell, get a once in a lifetime coaching staff, and we might make things work as well. But, we have neither QB or coaching, and thats a recipe for mediocrity, no matter how good the rest of the team might be.
  7. Do you think the Raiders care if we are back to full health? We're missing some key pieces, ourselves...
  8. Quite a few times if he stepped up in the pocket, instead of running to the sideline, he probably would have bought himself almost as much time, while also having a good view of the field. But at this point, I just hope he scrambles for first downs and is able to hit WRs after they get open. He missed a few throws that were open if he would haven anticipated them better... two times he took a chance on our WRs, it paid off (Watkins and Hunter), I wish he'd trust our receivers more to help him out. Hey, like I said, I'll take it! But I can still acknowledge that we definitely benefited haha
  9. Bad QB play, and the Jags got screwed a few times at the end (missed PI call, missed horsecollar, etc)
  10. That was one of the luckiest wins... I'll take it... but we're going to need to be better (especially Tyrod, at least in terms of passing) Also, either we are cursed, or our team is soft when it comes to staying healthy
  11. I feel like TD Mike would be a better RB vs this Jags defense. McCoy is dancing too much, Mike would at least get a couple tough yards.
  12. Instead of taking 2 yards, runs backwards for -3 yards
  13. Making a 2 win team look like Superbowl contenders already.
  14. I yelled at the TV when they did this (and then promptly made a negative post in the game thread). I don't understand it. Some may say 'play to win', but frankly running the ball is playing to win in that situation because football is about strategy.
  15. Anything other than a Superbowl victory is a failure of a season, imo.
  16. Top 10 in points scored is nice, but if we're at .500, it really doesn't matter. I'd rather be last in the league in points scored, and have a .750 winning percentage
  17. Missing 3 out of our top 4 WRs sucks. But, if NE can go 3-1 without the greatest QB of all time, we should be fine, right?
  18. At this point, we have to finish 11-5 to make the playoffs. Our tiebreaker situation is dire, 10-6 isn't going to do it.
  19. TT until we're mathematically out. Then give EJ a tryout, or if the Bills FO have moved on from EJ, give Cardale some experience.
  20. If we're favored by 8, that means Bortles is going to have a historically good day against us.
  21. 1) Yeah, 1st and goal at the 3/5 and we end up going for a few passes blew my mind, we had a successful drive that had some solid runs, and their front seven were gassed. The first run wasn't successful, so we immediately abandoned it for the pass. Made no damned sense. 2) And again, why abandon the pass with 2:40 left, and the Bengals without timeouts? If we don't get a first, at the very least we can let the clock run down to the 2 minute warning. Instead we gave them 30 extra seconds and a clock stoppage for their offense. Both were terrible decisions by Lynn, and hopefully Rex or someone gives him a stern lecture about it, because you do not win football games on a regular basis by giving teams opportunities like that.
  22. Robey has some serious hops, he was the highest player on that last jump ball Wins are good and all, but I can't help but shake the feeling we're going to finish out of the playoffs and with a mediocre draft pick haha
  23. Why did we throw it on that 3rd down? If we ran it, even if we didn't get the first, it would get the clock down to the 2 minute warning, so Cincy has one less chance to stop the ball. I really don't understand this team.
  24. I don't understand why we go with two pass plays when we are having success running the ball, and their defensive front is gassed.
