To me, it's not a surprise he got cut. The surprise is the timing. Why not bring them all in to camp and see who's got it? The only logical conclusion, imo, is slow recovery from injury.

A team that performs poorly doesn't have many top players? Not surprising. Meh.

Leno just isn't that good of a comedian or a writer. That being said... I really enjoy his online automotive show most of the time. He gets to play with some unique cars, and you can tell it's something he's passionate about. Though, he really needs to change out of the all denim outfit some day hah.

The few videos I watched, I noticed a fair amount of dropped passes, and failed separation for the WRs... I'll give this video a watch. I watched a few of the EJ Manual vs ____ games on YouTube, and he looked better than what some people here have been suggesting. And I can't say that their offense looked all that simple, but then again, I'm not an expert.

So, again... no actual analysis. Just sound bites, it seems like. Is there any video anywhere of someone breaking down exactly their concerns with EJ's mental facilities? This guy played on a fairly big program, there's gotta be some break down of his abilities other than "well, my source said he's kinda crappy at making decisions". San Jose, do you have any links to videos/games that you'd suggest people watch who want to know more about EJ? --- Been watching a few games where people have edited every EJ play, including incompletions... and so far, I like what I see. I'll continue to keep an eye out for "slow eyes" and his decision making...

I'm just hoping Williams pans out back there, and we can pick up a decent draft pick in return for Byrd, at this point.

I'm of the belief that there's always at least one team who is willing to overpay an all pro player. I can understand the business reasons for that. But if the Bills are serious about putting a winner on the field, they should agree to Byrd's Franchise terms, and make use of his abilities while trying to find a team to trade for him.

Maybe not number one, but he'll certainly get a pay day that the Bills won't give him. Just look at Mario Williams... a sucker of a team gave him $100mil Why would he take it, when another team will probably give him $9-10 mil a year next season?

I've skipped some stuff, so maybe I missed it... But where does EJ processing information slowly come from? Scouting reports? Media inventions? Is there tape on this that I can see?

I wish we could have kept both Levitre and Byrd, was expecting we'd keep one, now it looks like we'll keep neither. D'oh. Hopefully we don't run into this issue with CJ, when his contract is up. We really need to do better at keeping our talented players.
