  1. Two teams ahead of us in room... Jags and Browns. What do we all have in common?
  2. Apparently EJ is looking like the better QB again today. Though, I wonder if the asterisk still applies.
  3. I have a feeling we're going to see a heavy rotation of players along our defensive line. I'm not that worried.
  4. I have a feeling he'll "heal" just in time for regular season.
  5. Best memory of Kruk:
  6. Mario Williams had sacks in 7 out of 16 games. Compared to the guys above, I'd say he was lacking. Everyone else was more consistent, other than Charles Johnson. I'm pretty sure Mario makes the most as well. So I think there's reason to think that he disappointed compared to expectations. -- Now, just because he was lacking compared to the above, or maybe even my own expectations... he's still our best DE, and he's still a good player.
  7. TO THE FUTURE! (but seriously, thanks for the write up, great job)
  8. I'm trying really hard to keep my expectations in check for EJ... even though on the inside I'm excited as hell.
  9. John Kryk ‏@JohnKryk8m Marrone says EJ not seeing the same level of complicated def. schemes as Kolb so far, so there's your asterisk. #bills
  10. He stepped on a bee.
  11. You just unjinxed his jinxing. Thank you.
  12. Lucky Charms vs Cap'n Crunch
  13. OH **** HE'S THE STARTER FOR THE SEASON NOW BECAUSE OF THIS, ALL HAIL THE NEW DOUG FLUTIE For what it's worth, this is a good list also: https://twitter.com/buffalobills/localmedia
  14. That he isn't actually Superman?
  15. I wonder if he'll be more tempted to join the team if his replacement(s) continue to look good in camp/pre-season.
  16. Even with CJ and FredEx, I'm not sure if we'll be running a traditional "ground and pound" game. I have a feeling we'll still be in spread formations with 3 or 4 WRs most plays. So the whole extra DB base defense makes sense still.
  17. Wow, great write up. Thank you!
  18. Basically. It's a pass heavy, open field, sort of league now. Not many teams are ground and pound.
  19. Thanks for the write up!
  20. Thanks for the write up, mrags. Sounds like Kolb is doing better so far, but EJ has good upside. I would really like to see EJ *win* the job and start the season on the field.
  21. The Pats are the top of the AFC East... he probably isn't all that concerned about the Dolphins either (though, realistically, the Dolphins could win the AFC East this year). I feel like every team guns for the top teams in their division as a priority, not the mediocre to bottom dwellers. That all being said, a lot of things are new this year for us, so who knows.. he might pay attention if we make some noise on week one That'd qualify as "debate"...
  22. You can stop right there. It's a business. They don't really care about making a winner as long as fans show up to games and buy merchandise. And, as far as I can tell, they are still doing both (including myself!).
  23. Well, considering most people don't work under a contract, and can be fired at any given time with no guaranteed compensation... Yes, yes I would bend over and take it. But, then again, us middle class folks have to deal with a different reality.
  24. Can someone do a run down of who the players are with the character issues, and what exactly were the run ins that caused the concern? For example: 1) John Doe - caught being a hooker - dealing wild pigs - tried to set fire to an oompa loompa
