Wonder what it is that causes Stevie to have so many muscle issues. It seems like he stretches plenty, yet is either tight or pulls something quite often. Oh well, hopefully he gets back on the field soon. Do agree with the silver lining of getting our depth guys some more looks.
I used to go to the bars a lot to watch the games. This year I'm staying home and watching via Sunday Ticket that comes with Madden.
Other than that, I'll go into every game assuming a loss, and I'll be beside myself with excitement when we win.
Seems pretty straight forward to me so far. Kolb has NFL experience, so he can be thrown into the fire with no problem. EJ doesn't, so it makes sense to show him things a bit slower and ramp it up as we work towards the regular season.
Sure, the AFC is weaker... but do you really think we're going to finish with a better record than any of the above? I could see us beating out KC and that's about it as of right now. My opinion may change once I see us actually play some games, but until then, I assume we're in for more of the same.
I agree that Fitz is a better player than Kolb. Mostly because Fitz is fairly durable, and gets rid of the ball. Kolb can probably throw better, but it's the rest of his game that holds him back. Really wish we kept Fitz as our "mentor".

Just a heads up: We're going to write about Mario Williams again today. And you're going to read it.

He's absolutely right. Even if this whole thing is pointless drama bull ****, it gets "ratings", and that's all that matters. Threads like these just add to the attention they crave. News isn't about news anymore, it's about advertisement revenue which is based solely on reader numbers.
Lawson, from what I know, is more a depth player than a full time starter, which I think is the point of some of the complaints.
Personally, I'll just play the "wait and see" game, because I'm not an expert on his past.
Every year, I tell myself, I'm not going to get excited. Every year, training camp rolls around, I read the reports, and I start getting excited. Then we start the season and stink it up.
You'd think I'd learn. But apparently not.
I'm of the opinion that it's both columns. We've had crappy coaches. And we have had (and probably still have) a relatively weak roster. We have a few studs, don't get me wrong, but we miss good/solid players at a few starting positions and in depth.
