  1. Not sure about the relevance of this. I was assuming EJ to be healthy by week 1.
  2. I want whomever gives us the best chance to win.
  3. Focus on the run, and let us dink and dunk towards three and outs.
  4. All I know is... when he comes back, he better have a brace on both knees, both elbows, and double the football pads.
  5. Well, if what I've read around here is any indication... we won't need a punt returner!
  6. I'd rather have Leinart than Tuel, if he clicks with the system. He has real NFL experience.
  7. No clue. Just because I think it'd be a good idea, doesn't mean it's at all likely to happen.
  8. 3-13, wins vs Browns, Jets (at Buffalo) and Jags.
  9. And neither of our RBs will make it through the season healthy.
  10. I said mid level, not journeymen! Who makes a bigger difference, CBs that can cover WRs relatively well, or a Safety playing behind CBs that won't be within 5 yards of the WR they are covering? It's obviously not going to happen, but if we are in the mode of "win now", it'd be better for us to have a couple average CBs and a couple average Safeties, than it would be to have terrible CBs and one Probowl safety, imo.
  11. Trade him for a pair of mid level CBs.
  12. Even if EJ does play, we'll likely lose after giving up 50 points.
  13. Yeah, I'm more hopeful on this team as far as potential is concerned. We have young "high upside" guys at QB, WR, RB, LB and CB. We have a decent foundation on paper. But with injuries, a weak OL, no depth at CB, I think this year is going to be another long year, and hopefully we can continue to plug holes next year without opening up any new ones.
  14. I want to say my original prediction was 4-6 wins. I think I'm sticking with that, but more on the side of 4 wins than 6 wins. Hopefully, I'm dead wrong heh.
  15. Between our deteriorating QB situation, losing Gilmore, and issues with our run offense AND defense, I bet the Patriots are drooling over the prospect of facing us in two weeks. One of these years we'll catch a break, right?
  16. Seems likely. Isn't that what we did with Fred last year?
  17. Hell, it could be argued our draft didn't exactly go well so far. EJ got injured 3 quarters into his career. Hopefully not a sign of things to come. I haven't really seen Woods do much of anything. Alonso has looked good. Goodwin had a couple kick returns, but has done nothing else. Rogers already cut. Tuel will likely be on PS. The two safeties haven't exactly replaced Byrd from what I've read. But, it's preseason, so we'll see what happens when the real games start.
  18. Damn. Lost our only CB. Might as well play two safeties and 9 LB/DLs.
  19. I want CJ to get the ball more, like most other people. But I don't think he should be used for power running schemes.
  20. Concussions can be pretty serious for some people, man. Give it a rest.
  21. Considering we just picked up two QBs, I'm not as confident as this guy is.
  22. I had no desire to see him start for the Bills, but Jesus, this sucks. Not so much for us, but for him. Hopefully he can still lead a functional and comfortable life.
