  1. We'd be really dumb to 'blow things up' imo. Offense is clicking with a middle of the road QB.... the defense has some talented players, just need a better scheme for us.
  2. Same. I'm going to do my best to be more objective going forward, I can't take this let down anymore.
  3. Of course we could do a lot better, and I want to do better. But let's be real... we don't have any other immediate options for improvement. Keeping Tyrod and taking a chance in the draft is about the only option we have for both making the playoffs and striking future gold. If you want to pick up whatever crappy QB and tank, for a future high draft pick, I can see that argument, but I'd rather get to the playoffs now and build on what we have.
  4. I agree with OP. Fact is we haven't been far off from playoffs. Offense is clicking. Obviously we'd love to have Tom Brady level talent at QB, but what we have in Tyrod is likely better than other options available to us right now. We could do a lot worse than a middle of the pack QB. We have a winning record when he starts, while having a bottom third level defense, and questionable ST. Bring in a decent DC, and that's a great start. It's not like we are without talent on the defensive side of the ball.
  5. Wondering now, what Tyrod can do, to make sure he doesn't pass the physical, while keeping in good enough shape to get himself on a new team after... I still think the Bills will probably keep him, since there's not much better available (we could do a lot worse than roughly the 15th best QB)
  6. Is that what determines the injury payout?
  7. I'm totally fine with Lynn as our HC, as long as our offense keeps putting up the points it is now. Could use some improvements from Tyrod (assuming he stays), of course, but frankly all in all, we could do a lot worse on offense. The most important thing is finding a DC who can get our defensive players in the right position for success.
  8. So who decides if Taylor is injured enough to receive his injury payout?
  9. Sounds like we need to get rid of the Pegulas and the entire front office. Who else can we get rid of next? The fans? Definitely the fans.
  10. AFAIK, Tyrod doesn't have a say in whether the Bills pick up his option or not.
  11. I don't think this means anything other than the Bills are keeping their options open. They likely have a short list of QBs they prefer, and there's also a new HC's input. If for whatever reason the new HC doesn't like TT, they move on. If they have a way to get a QB they prefer, they move on. If neither of those happen, they keep Tyrod.
  12. So everyone hates Lynn already? He should be fired, he didn't get us to the playoffs. Who's the next guy?
  13. As much as it's nice to draft a stud QB, that only happens with a good QB development staff. Do we have that? Will we have that? I don't have faith in our ability to develop a QB, so I'd rather keep our offense in tact for now, and focus on improving the defense.
  14. Well, I for one hope EJ lights the Jets up, and he becomes a Hall of Fame QB for the Bills. I mean, I don't expect any of that, but it'd certainly be nice
  15. I'm still not seeing another QB option that I'd prefer over Tyrod. Sure we can save a few bucks with a worse QB, but will that get us to the playoffs?
  16. How many of those are elite? How many of those are due to good development that the Bills lack? Do Bridgewater, Carr, Wilson, Cousins develop into starters in Buffalo with David Lee and Nate Hackett?
  17. Why do you think he left?
  18. We used to give 3 years, then we gave Marrone 2, and now Rex less than 2. I say we give the next coach 5 games to fix it.
  19. The sad part is, Rex has the best record out of any of our coaches since we last made the playoffs. The players that were here in 2014 never got on board with Rex's system. But also Rex's system sucks.
  20. We still need to have the right coaches to develop said elite QB draft talent.
  21. So do about 20-25 other teams.
  22. It's pretty clear that there's a serious ax to grind. You have most people saying 'Tyrod's pretty average, and the Bills are protecting their options with him going into the offseason' And the rest saying 'Tyrod is worse than cancer and aids combined', basically.
  23. Not enough people take into account QB development when judging QB draft picks. For example... Prescott drafted here? Probably not seeing the field, and if he does, looks shaky.
