  1. I'm basically of the belief that the Bills will never reach the playoffs as long as Wilson owns the team, Brandon runs the team, and they are located in Buffalo.
  2. Different team. Same results. Rebuilding.
  3. The refs gave that to us. Big time false start.
  4. I just don't get it. On paper, I feel like we have a decent team. But I feel like that many years. Yet every year we have a losing record. I guess I've been blinded by fandom.
  5. That FG call was a perfect example of being out coached.
  6. The good news is, it doesn't really matter who we put in at QB, since the season is over at 7 losses usually. Might as well stick with EJ through the end of the year, to see what we have.
  7. This team is embarrassing. How we are only down by 7 is beyond me.
  8. Kinda funny that today is an "easy" game, yet the Steelers are essentially our statistical equivalent.
  9. So who wants to get ahead of the game and start a "Cut EJ now" thread?
  10. I say we start dressing a couple bench players in ref outfits and see if we can make a couple sneaky swaps throughout the game.
  11. Every week we get offended by the experts picking the other team. Every week we explain why we'll win the game. 66% of the time, we lose. 66% of the time, we come up with excuses why we didn't win. Injuries, luck, etc. Why is this week any different? Playing on the road... against Pittsburgh... with a rusty and possibly injury prone rookie QB, playing behind a line that doesn't deal with zone blitzes well. I can see why we are underdogs. I have no prediction myself, other than like most weeks, we should be in the game, at the very least.
  12. Every year we fans sit around and nod in agreement "we're so much better than our record". Gotta love moral victories.
  13. KC's defense may have been shredded, but they produced 3 turnovers which resulted in a victory. Good teams win. Bad teams make excuses. Congrats to the Chiefs.
  14. I think he's fine, just not starter material right now. Once Thad and EJ are back, see if you can put Tuel on PS, and get rid of Dixon/Flynn.
  15. 17-9 Chiefs. With an injured Thad, or Flynn/Tuel and a limited FJ/CJ... I don't see us having much offensive luck. Our defense, while better, still gives up one or two big plays a game, which is enough for a touchdown, and I see the Chiefs converting a TO into a TD as well, the rest of the scores coming on FGs throughout. If we had a healthy backfield, and a healthy Thad/EJ at QB, I'd probably predict a Bills win.
  16. I've had better experiences at most places being a visiting Bills fan than I have being a Bills fan at the Ralph. :/
  17. Terrible Coaching: Check QB w/ Turnover Problems: Check Defense that gives up big plays: Check All these seasons are starting to feel the same. At least we get more sacks this year, so that's entertaining.
  18. I think Athlete and Actor salaries are problematic (at the extremes). I also think extreme income inequality (as is happening in the US) is problematic. I think it should be reeled in some how (pros and cons for every solution). I do not support full socialism, though. It's too bad that there seems to be no room for "middle ground" in these discussions. I do support minimum wage being increased to a "living wage". Though, it'd need to be relative to your location, either State or County. Yes, I'm aware that'd make the price of Big Macs go up $0.50, but I think that's a small price to pay for better quality of life on the low end of the pay scale (not to mention they'd have more money to put into the system, so the CEOs everyone cares about could make more profits).
  19. Alright, since I'm in the minority. I acknowledge that the Bills defense is good, and that I do not comprehend football. Cheers, folks. Unlike 'scopes, I'll actually go away. Sorry for disagreeing with people.
  20. So there's no possible way that maybe, just maybe, the Bills were thinking run on any of those plays due to the fact that the Jets were having success on the ground? There's no possible way that successful running can lead to big pass plays? I saw a lot of cover one sort of defense last night (and again, I could be completely wrong, as I'm not an expert), which tells me they were stacking the box for the run and pass rush. I never once called you an idiot. I said we have differing opinions.
  21. I saw a game in which the run set up the pass. The run is the foundation of the Jets offense, or at least was yesterday. The abuse of Rogers was basically the icing on the cake. We watched the same game, and saw different things, I don't see what's so ridiculous about that.
  22. I've already stated my opinion. I think our defense is more aggressive and better than last year. It's still not that good, though. Our run defense gives up too many first downs and big chunk plays, and our pass defense is significantly hurt by injuries. We get burned on passes, due to the fact that we stack the box for blitzes and run stops, while depending on the skills of DBs that just aren't cutting it. We have obvious injury problems in the backfield, but our front seven seems to be having issues stopping runs up the middle. For the most part, we set edges pretty solidly, and get sideline to sideline well. I'm perfectly fine with disagreeing with you and eball. I don't claim to be an expert. I'm also not claiming we're worse or the same as last year, just that we still have room for significant improvement, especially with a struggling offense on the other side of the ball.
  23. Just got a corrected notification about his expectation to play.
  24. I got the stat from TeamRankings.com, fwiw. I have watched the games. Since I have a different opinion than you, I suppose I am ignorant.
