  1. Watch non Bills games as well as Bills games and let him decide who to root for.
  2. Hah, I'm in DC and I was looking at TB or JAX earlier this year. Decided against it, as the cost would be too great for what looked like another disappointing team. 4-8 is 4-8, I'm tired of the excuses.
  3. I still like him as a second or third option. But his choke artist skills are really trying my patience. I would have no problem with the team trading him. But I'd also welcome him back.
  4. Keep: Alan Branch 28 $3,000,000 Dan Carpenter 28 $555,000 Alex Carrington 26 $846,000 Tashard Choice 29 $620,000 Chris Hogan 25 $405,000 Jim Leonhard 31 $555,000 Thaddeus Lewis 26 $391,764 Arthur Moats 25 $1,351,000 Brian Moorman 37 $391,765 Frank Summers 28 $480,000 Byrd goes to another team. Carrington only comes back if he can prove healthy/productive. Branch, I'd like to keep, but not sure if the price is right for a backup DT/DE. He's played decently though. Choice, Hogan, Leonhard, Thad, Moats all good depth. Summers seems to be fine at FB. Moorman, he stays unless we find a better punter. -- Reality is, though, it doesn't matter who we keep, who we drop, who we sign, who we draft... we're going to continue to fall short unless we get the mental game right.
  5. Poor coaching. Mentally deficient players. Yay.
  6. A home game in which most of the crowd is rooting for the other team. That should tell you everything you need to know about this franchise.
  7. Pressure was there, but our coverage was weak at times. Specifically Gilmore. They had a lot of calls with Gilmore not pressing the WR, which is confusing to me, because that's his strength, no?
  8. Needs, in no particular order: QB (This could be EJ if he improves, but right now, not cutting it) RB (only if Fred retires) WR (we need a WR with size and speed, Goodwin is fun, but no real consistent threat) TE (need one that can catch, block and hold on to the ball) G ILB (need another LB to complement Kiko) CB (Gilmore isn't cutting it, he can be our 2nd or 3rd string guy) FS (Byrd isn't long for this team) Honestly, we have a lot of good players on paper. We just can't put it together. I say it's the fault of a poor coaching staff, but who knows anymore.
  9. Something I harped on early in the season. Though, there's something to be said for that Aaron Williams call, heh.
  10. It's a pretty big fundamental to cover the ball up in a situation like that. So, either SJ doesn't listen to coaches when they teach those things... or the coaches haven't been teaching those things. Either way, it doesn't look good for the coaches.
  11. Aaron Williams not touching a guy gets called. The Pats do all sorts of shady stuff and get no calls. Fun.
  12. The culture change is a big pile of bull ****. This season is going exactly the same as the last 13 years. Just enough hope to sell some tickets, no results on the field.
  13. Pettine? The guy who heads a defense that can't stop opposing teams with any consistency, while also starting a boat load of talent? Yeah, ok.
  14. I'm almost to the point where I think this franchise should be removed from the NFL.
  15. This thread is funny, now.
  16. I'm seriously considering burning my Bills gear.
  17. Defense choked. SJ choked. Chandler choked. Refs made a couple bad calls. The crowd was rooting for Atlanta. This team is an embarrassment, year after year. For whatever reason I keep coming back. I'm an idiot. I'm a big !@#$ing idiot.
  18. NFL would rather the Bills suck so they can move the franchise to a real market.
  19. What happened to having Goodwin running routes other than go routes? Is that not necessary because SJ and Woods are back?
  20. Good to hear they play the shout song. I was wondering if they did.
