  1. Yup, my expectations were low, and they were met. It just sucks having low expectations all the time.
  2. Speaking of... any word on his ribs?
  3. Off topic/On topic... glad to see Woods get some action again yesterday. He seems to be the only WR on our team with sure hands.
  4. This is what I've noticed also. When he does put some zip on it, it seems to surprise our WRs more often than not.
  5. Sprains linger, as long as it's not serious, I'm not worried. We'll see how the knees do next year and going forward.
  6. Every year we talk about games we "should have" won. If we should have won those games, we would have won those games. This team isn't any good. It needs to get better.
  7. I think he lives up to his first name well. He's a decent Nickel CB.
  8. Defense is playing relatively well to what? Other than sacks and interceptions, we're pretty pedestrian on that side of the ball.
  9. Feast or Famine defense. Fun to watch our D play sometimes, but we give up way too many big plays. Not to mention the penalty caused first downs. Dear god we suck. I think it's safe to say we won't be losing Pettine to a HC job quite yet.
  10. When it comes to the critics, being in the middle of the pack in those rankings won't really matter. The only three people he'll get compared to are Luck, Wilson and RGIII. All made the playoffs in their first year. Two of them repeated (while RGIII is dealing with drama/slump). EJ has gotten injured twice, and lead the Bills to another losing record while playing on a team with a "dominant defense" (according to certain experts). In the end, it doesn't look good for him. Personally, I see bits and pieces of a good QB. But then I also see a lot of problems. I'm all for giving him time, but I also don't want to sit back and "settle" on him. So if the Bills have the opportunity, either in the draft, or FA, to get a QB that is either better, or equal to him, they should take that opportunity and let there be a QB competition next year. EJ hasn't earned the "unquestioned starter" title, yet.
  11. It's just the way it is these days. Luck is a good example... he hasn't played all that great this year, yet his team is in the playoffs so he gets endless praise.
  12. I'm kind of at the point where I won't be heart broken if we let him go. But, I only want us to let him go if we can add two good/capable WRs to the main group next year.
  13. To be fair, he got destroyed on that throw
  14. Even if he wasn't the answer here, I love watching Fitz play.
  15. Since we lost two of those games, I'm not sure how well this point is made. Wins are really the only thing that matters in the end. Wins are really the only thing QBs are judged on these days.
  16. Quarter one was terrible. Played fairly well the rest of the game. Still threw the ball inaccurately to some open WRs, that were still caught. He has some issues to work out. I was encouraged that he got some confidence back. I'm still ok with us bringing another QB in next year to have a competition.
  17. Good victory for our team. EJ came along nicely. Defense came up with some big plays at times, though needs to learn to be more consistent and stop giving up painful first downs.
  18. What a stupid call on 3rd down!
  19. Thank god we're playing Jax.
  20. Pettine is overrated so far...
  21. The game when SJ and Woods were out, and Goodwin was running more than go routes, he actually impressed me. I'd like to see more of him as a regular WR.
  22. EJ has turned it around a lot, seems he's got his confidence back. Not over thinking the game as much. Still has A LOT to work on.
  23. Agree with others, Goodwin should have caught that. Though, EJ could have put it out in front a little further, so Goodwin didn't need to slow down and be vulnerable to a big hit.
