  1. All I know is, I'm tired of Comcast having a monopoly in my area. I've been having issues for years with them, this last set of issues going back about 6 months. I pay for a 200Mbit connection, often times have 0-20Mbit results, because instead of wiring my building correctly, they keep splitting people off, and calling it a day. Their contractors/workers get paid in jobs 'completed', not results. So I continue to get absolutely screwed over. I'm close to cancelling and just dealing with not having internet at all.
  2. If you want to take a look at multiple polls vs just one source: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/other/president_trump_job_approval-6179.html
  3. Miami wins the second game and Tanny gets the credit for it. Classic Ryan L Billz.
  4. Tanny's best year was a QB rating of 93.5, his career rating is 86.5, his best QBR is 58. His TD to TO ratio is 1.23:1. And his best ANY/A is 6.21, with a career of 5.6. Taylor meanwhile has a Bills career rating of 94, a career QBR of 64. A TD to TO ratio of 2.47:1 and a career ANY/A of 6.55. So you're saying you prefer the worse QB that is more expensive, because the Dolphins beat the Bills in a team game? Got it.
  5. Most accurate statement in TBD history.
  6. You covered my thoughts pretty well on this. I try to keep an open mind, because what else can I do until election day... but I just don't see how this is a good plan?
  7. A real problem for the Democratic party, imo, is how our voting systems are setup to favor more rural areas, while educated liberals tend to flock to city centers, minimizing their power. A vote in WY is more powerful than a vote in CA, for example, same happens within states with districts as well. The Democratic party is likely not going to have any real power until they decentralize their base, either by attracting rural voters, or by convincing their base to move out of the cities. Unfortunately white collar jobs tend to be in cities, so I doubt the latter will be happening anytime soon.
  8. I think TT's cap hit is like 17mil next year, not 30mil.
  9. Use the 'code' function... looks like <> on the toolbar of the post editor. Helps to paste your table into Notepad or Textedit on your computer, and make sure everything is tabbed correctly first too. Feel free to copy/paste my post into yours (hit Quote first, then copy that, instead of just directly from the page)

  11. Yeah, I do wonder about that myself. I think Roman's scheme worked wonderfully for us (top third in a lot of per drive metrics), while our defense was in the bottom third of the league in per drive metrics. If we can keep the offense productive and just get our defense to be top half of the league, we'll win a couple more of those close games that we lost over the last couple of seasons and see ourselves in the wildcard, rather easily. No idea what our new offense is going to be like, and if Tyrod would play well within it or not. Tyrod like most mid range QBs likely depends on a scheme/coaching that is geared towards his strengths. I think a lot of people want to tank until we get a QB, but that could easily turn us into the Browns. :|
  12. If we're guaranteed to win only 6 games with Tyrod, then yes, I say move on. But I disagree with that guarantee... we can score points with Tyrod at QB, the problem is, we gave up too many points on the other side of the ball. My assumption is that we'll get better on defense, and win some of those 'guaranteed losses'.
  13. I'm a fan of keeping Tyrod and drafting a developmental project in the middle of the draft. Let whomever and Cardale compete for backup/future QB.
  14. I agree with this. He'll probably given a shot at starter somewhere, but frankly I think he's best suited as a good backup behind a good young starter. Buffalo and Romo just wouldn't mix.

But I do think looking at last season and the season before, he's roughly average. But for argument's sake, lets take last season's stats only. Here are the top 18 QBs sorted by ANY/A. Which of the 17 'better' QBs are realistically available to us? And would they be an improvement on *this* team? For ***** and giggles, here's 2015:
  16. Do you think it's because he got worse as a player, or because of other factors?
  17. You clearly didn't read my post if that's what you thought I said.

  19. I hate him, but he's the best QB of all time.
  20. Oh we can definitely win a war. But at what cost? Is it worth it?
  21. The only thing we can realistically do is B word about it. In the end we can't risk getting too involved with China on a military scale, because we need their partnership diplomatically and economically.
  22. I was 13 during 1994. So... a lot has changed.
  23. Depends on how expensive he is. If he's minimum, then sure, keep him around. If he's demanding some big salary, then bye. Edit: I voted 'stay' since I assume he's going to be dirt cheap, and he's a good 3rd-5th option at WR.
  24. I don't think there's a single QB in the NFL that can win the Superbowl on this team as of right now. But that's with Rex fresh in mind, and knowing nothing of our new coaching staff.
