  1. A lot of people tend to forget this, imo.
  2. The next week can't go by fast enough.
  3. I'm not of the opinion that he isn't worth the contract he's likely to get, but rather we just don't have the cap room to keep him.
  4. Still no context for Sal's quote?
  5. Is there more context for Sal's quote?
  6. Won't Trump be 74 in 2020? Or is my math off?
  7. Bring him into camp and let him fight for a position on a minimum deal.
  8. I like him, but I agree, he fell off, and is on the wrong side of his career... I don't see a benefit in overpaying to keep him.
  9. I'm curious how the above will mix with 'balanced budget' Paul Ryan. I'm assuming they'll have to raise taxes on the lower/middle class and cut social programs, in order to balance increased defense/infrastructure and tax cuts for the wealthy.
  10. Crazy wild prediction: Whatever we do results in a losing season and missing the playoffs.
  11. FWIW, I agree with you. But I'm trying to figure out the logic of keeping marijuana illegal because it impairs driving, but alcohol is somehow fine.
  12. Because we'll be guaranteed a top 10 QB! That's how it works right? You get a top draft pick, pick a QB, and that QB is automatically great because they were drafted early. Right?
  13. If someone is a danger, they get pulled over, and if the officer sees that the driver is impaired, they take care of it the usual way. I don't really see how that's any different than now. There's two groups of people that would smoke when legal... those who already smoke, so they are already a possible 'danger' for impaired driving... and those who might give it a try since it's legal, but before hand were worried since it wasn't.... these people probably aren't the type to drive while impaired. Not really convinced that's a good argument for keeping marijuana illegal, if anything that's an argument for banning all substances that can impair driving (which also includes various legal medications, not just stuff like alcohol).
  14. Would be a very Billsy move to get rid our best offensive player.
  15. I've only smoked a few times in my life, I don't have any personal stake in this. Alcohol is easily worse as far as what it does to a person's behavior, so to me, weed being illegal is just illogical. Ban alcohol, or legalize marijuana, one or the other.
  16. I still don't understand why the stuff is illegal.
  17. I can't say yes or no until the QB situation is resolved. That being said, I'd vote restructure. He's still a valuable piece of our defense imo.
  18. Fantastic analysis, Eric.
  19. Ideally, I agree, keeping most of the same unit should result in success... But then again, we thought our defense would be good in 2015 after the successful 2014 season. :/
  20. 53% for Tyrod 47% for someone else Not really surprised
  21. Unsurprising that Tyrod was much better with Sammy vs without. I know the response will be 'other teams have injuries...' and to that I say 'unless you have an all time great QB, they will be impacted by missing your WR1"
  22. I didn't suggest that. Teams and players have up/down years depending on what happens around them. The absolute greats aren't impacted by them (Brady, for example), the middle of the pack guys, most definitely are. It's not rocket science.
  23. If you take both years into account, he's roughly average. If you only focus on 2016 (a year in which he lost 3 out of 4 of his top receivers), then yeah, he's in the lower end of starters. I personally take both years into account, but it seems a lot of people around here are only focused on 2016 for whatever reason.
