At this point, I expect 0-16 going into every season. Just so I can feel good about finishing with 4-8 wins, and a playoff miss.

I think the Pats will win a couple more, and the Bills a couple less. It's tough to predict optimism with 17 years of futility. Hopefully McD can actually coach this team, but I'm skeptical... again, because of 17 years of futility.

Every team (and their fanbases) in the league should be laughing at us for literally everything we do, until we make the playoffs. Not sure why anyone would be offended.

Any team that changes GMs, HCs, QBs constantly is not going to win. And at the same time, you can't just 'stick it out'. Frankly we're **** out of luck until we hit a homerun on a QB in the draft some year, and then HOPEFULLY we build around them competently (unlike say, the Colts).

Most talented teams we've had since our last playoff appearance, imo. Changing coaches every couple of seasons did him no favors. Hopefully the next guy continues to bring in talent. Good luck, and best wishes Doug!

I still think that Whaley has put together a pretty talented team that underperformed due to coaching, in fact much more talented than Bills teams of the past. The only downfall, not finding a top 10 QB so far. If a GM gets fired just based on that, then that puts any GM in a bad place until they get lucky, essentially. Very few QBs coming out are sure thing top 10 QBs.

Meh, it's his until someone else earns it, which is the way it should be.

On paper I like the talent, though I'm a bit salty about being forced to use a first rounder on CB after letting Gilmore go. Can't do much about our cap situation though at this point.

I know nothing, but imo, Doug is sticking around, but I could see McD having a say in re-working/adjusting the scouting makeup. I bet Doug and McD work well together, frankly.

I'm guessing that, because we're the Bills, Mahomes will be a future Hall of Famer. Other than that, it's a good trade on paper.

Personally I think we got real lucky with Karlos and Mike, and that RBs are not a dime a dozen. How bad were Boom Boom, Boobie, Reggie, etc while Shady, Karlos and Mike excelled? If we have the room, I say we keep Mike on, because running is vital to our offense. If I had more faith in our passing attack, I'd be more likely to move on from him and take the 5th round pick. Edit to add: I wasn't impressed with JWill last year, but maybe that was just being a rookie.
