I thought you want the Bills to improve? If T.O. couldn't "prove" himself last season, what makes you think his problem is he just needs more motivation? What he needs is a cart load of HGH.

Do they even drug test players not currently on a NFL roster??

i like that it sounds like a dirty word but it isnt
The force is strong in this one.

Thurman, you're an excellent poster and I want to comment on a few.
Of course neither of us know if Marcus McNeill will be moved by San Diego but consider this. The rhetoric from both sides has escalated to full out war. Egos are at stake, people are seriously pissed off and both sides claim that they will NOT back down. Look at Smith's remarks about McNeill and Vincent Jackson.
"We lost a couple of great players today, and it hurts. We are trying to build a championship team, and losing the services of both Vincent and Marcus just made that more difficult — but not impossible. In due time, coach (Norv) Turner will name two new starters. We will rally as a team, compete and try to win as many games as we can."
But actions speak louder than words. Because both players didn't sign by the June 15th deadline, Smith spitefully reduced their contract offers to $2.5 million below their tenders. And this is action was not required. It was optional, and AJ Smith took the option of reducing their compensation for 2010 by about two thirds. Smith also acquired OT Tra Thomas and WR Josh Reed as insurance for McNeill and Jackson, both of whom have said they will skip mandatory minicamp and hold out this year.
Yes, this could be posturing on both sides, but the fact that replacement players have been acquired as insurance, that substantial money has been taken off the table, and that all sides are ratcheting up the tough talk leads me to believe that there is a chance that McNeill will never play for the Chargers again.
Pegged is the only thing I can say & each side is digging in for the long haul, let's make it a short haul to Buffalo.

You agree with a Pats Fan. I think that says something about your opinion.
Everything I need to know.

LOL u serious? what a good story to tell even to say u were in the casting call. I'm not an alcoholic but i do drink a lot from time to time. My random postings sure prove that btw Memo was Hawt!!
I had to remember to tell them I am lefty (& I am) and I got spooked at raised my right hand, LOL. What an actor I would of been.

For a while now i've wanted Trent to grow a set and show everyone up. Perhaps it's not meant to be. Give him a chance under the new offense and see what happens before lambasting him. In my opinion he's on a short leash, but don't skewer him just yet. Everyone needs a chance under a new regime. If Trent fails I think Gailey will be quick to turn to the next qb and see what he has to offer. I really doubt Gailey see's SB potential in any of the qb's we have this year. He's just working with what he has and maximizing his current talent. Nothing wrong with that.
That might explain why he drafted a RB with our # 9 pick this year and picked up a 270 Lbs blocking TE, it's time to run.

Geez damn close one. I've been trying to the best of my ability to appreciate and learn baseball for years now. It's such a slow paced game. But i know there must be something about it to be appreciated. After all i have to admit, The Natural is one of my favorite movies.
I went to the casting call for Playing Robert Redford as a youth (it was held in Buffalo) and they ended up taking a fat kid for the part.
Baseball is relatively boring but if you are a alcoholic, any sport can be somewhat interesting.

Unfortunately we have to throw everyone into the mix when it comes to sense and opinion. I agree with u tho.

wow what inning is it now?
Marlins had a shot to win but they had a pitcher bat with one out who hasn't batted for like 7 years they said, he was going to try and squeeze bunt but to no avail. He struck out and the Marlins last batter flew out to right, Rays win 9-8.
The announcer said it was the weirdest game ever played by the Marlins and that's saying a lot.

I wish common sense was more common than it is. Why is it called common when it is really not??
Common sense is common to only those who have it.
-
Bases chucked for the Marlins down by 4 with no outs, hmmm. Maybe these horns work?
Update: 9-8 marlins down now, nobody out and runners on 2nd / 3rd. Bottom of the 11th, Hmmm....

The Skins are in win now mode. Aging everywhere. We're not in the same boat. Now, this gives us a point of comparison w/ the Ravens. Brown should be roughly as valuable as Gaither (considering the Pro Bowl appearances by Brown), so our 3rd should do it when you take into consideration that Brown may be gone for a low 4th. Not all bad news here. If we're still negotiating, that is.
We're in the win later mode, 10 years running.
-
They've been going all night at the Rays/Marlins game in Miami, bottom of the 11th and counting...................
I just turned that game on a minute ago after going into extra innings and thought my TV was messed up, LOL.

Hehe; if no one feeds the trolls, there would be no fun around here.
Seriously though, you must admit that the TE position has been seriously neglected for the last decade or so. Our best TE has been Jay Riemersma, after all.
We could have 12 Te's, if the coaches never knew how to use them it wouldn't matter. If they can block & can help the line, they can't hurt.

Chuck KNox told me and my cousin that Santa Claus was dead. I was 10 cousin was 6. So i knew the truth but my cousin was upset-True Story.
Quite a guy there, LOL.

Brohm? Hmm...

Sad but true, despite the self-denial from other posters in this thread.
Nelson is still raw, but is our best, and likely would be a #2 or #3 on most teams.
The other guys have practice-squad talent.
Yeah the SB starter / winner Matthews is just useless.
-
Jeez, the first time in years, the Bills seem to have some actual choices regarding the TE position. Nelson has the size, speed, and what appear to be excellent hands. He could be the secret sauce. A TE who can catch and run.
Gailey brought in Matthews so I suspect he stick, and having a 270 lb TE who can block is not a bad thing. He also has shown to be able to make some nice catches as well in the OTA's to date. I would put Schouman third.
The biggest issue last year with our TE's is that they too frequently had to stay in to block since the O-line struggled so much last year with growing pains and injuries.
Matthews also started during the Giants SB win and was part of their league topping running game results for years, which shows me the Bills have a plan to get there through the run. Add in a Spiller, a little wood and I am happy.
I personally like seeing a plan that you can't gameplan for, pounding the rock again and again. Our defense coming around also makes us look like a Jets clone of last season, which didn't do that bad.
Pound the rock, have a pretty stout D. It's a plan.

The rules are:
1) No one on the Bills is an NFL starter, even our starters.
2) Any player cut from another team is better than anyone we presently have on our roster.
3) You don't talk about Fight Club.

Nelson, Matthews, Schouman, Jonathan Stupar and Joe Klopfenstein. Who is staying / who is going and why??
Nelson = He's a great runner that can catch / will start.
Matthews = 270 Lbs SB winner that can block for our running attack.
Joe K = His name is more challening than most of the local which will help local jersey sales.

Nor do I, actually. But obviously some do.

If he is half of what I have read, we should of run up there twice as fast to pick him.

Well, you called her a "hoochie" and that is very offensive to some. I realize you were probably referring to her "ghetto fabulous" look, but the term is also associated with a whore by many.
Which again I see no problem with.

They need to make it $300 Million for 4 years, then we might have something.
