  1. It doesn't make any sense for a rebuilding team to bring in a 40-year old QB. Troy Smith might have it, he might not. But it would be a low-risk proposition and it wouldn't preclude us from trading for an LT if that's the direction the FO wanted to go. Troy Smith wouldn't require more than a fifth at absolute most; a solid LT would require a first or second round pick most likely.

Where does the 40 year old part come in here??

  2. Bills were ahead by 3 TD's + in Miami, drunken Miami fans attacked us in the nose bleeds and decided that the (716) chant was not appropriate any longer. We tried to pass on the goal line and it equaled a explosion of taunt unknown by most folks. It topped the playoff loss after standing in a looting rain for our will call tickets in the late 90's, by a bit.

    How about you??

  3. Agreed. Jauron didn't believe in running pass patterns where the WR could catch the ball on the run and break big chunks of YAC. It was probably too dangerous for him. Jauron's ultra conservative offense preferred the WRs to catch the ball at a dead stop.

DJ liked the secondary being stronger, which made ST that much better. Offense was not his forte'.
