  1. favorite: french fries. not so favorite: stuff other than french fries. (and anything else not deep-fried)
  2. Ay, Oh, whoa... whataya' doin' here...?
  3. the original Night of the Living Dead is still the only movie ever to freak me the f out. Just the claustrophobic feeling and the sparce information delivered so matter-of-factly. I still eye the windows suspiciously after that movie.
  4. well that was fukin easy.
  5. damn. my picture thingy ain't werkin'...
  6. Even I'm starting to get sick of all the Jets talk!
  7. good, good... it's a start...
  8. uhhh... are you hitting on me...?
  9. I'm from Rochester, actually.
  10. you don't like hearing about the Jets, so you start a thread about the Jets instead? So you like reading about them, just not hearing about them...right?
  11. if the Palestinians got it so rough, perhaps they should stop picking fights with folks that can clearly kick their ass.
  12. +1 the reaction that Israel is the aggressor in all of this is the exact result the "peace flotilla" was going for. Youknow... the peaceful ( ) protestors who beat people down with pipes etc.
  13. I'm not here for hatin'. I just like talkin' football and bustin chops. I'm local (Roch. area) and my best friend is a Bills fan, so I talk about your team all the time. Generally, I think you guys only need a couple of pieces to be a contender again. (most importantly: QB) Out of the rest of our division, I'd say I hate the Bills the least.
  14. lol. I understand. I'm the same way with fish fans. as much as the Jets have other rivalries, the blowholes will always be my "most hated". ...and I can't let your list of past accomplishments bother me either... I just think of one stat: 1 for 1, and 0 for 4.
  15. I not too "douchey". Mebbee just a bit. I was wondering who to ask questions of. Thanks. "Ieatcrayons" sounds like a safe bet.
  16. let the abuse commence.
  17. You do realize, of course, that the Jets will continue to draft players in the upcoming years, right? I mean, some of those vets that we're added through FA are not going to be with this team after this year. We already know that. BTW, who are these vets that came in with their huge contracts? Cromartie? Nope. last year of his rookie deal. Tomlinson? Nope, less than what Thomas Jones cost. Taylor (who just pisses me off)? Nope. Signed for kicker money. The last two big free agent pickups that got HUGE contracts we're Faneca and Bart Scott. Faneca steadied two growing youngsters and became a quick captain. Doesn't seem like money poorly psent to me. How about Bart? Gee, guy comes in explicitly to lead the defense in the Rex Ryan way, and we end up #1 defense overall. Again, money well spent. Revis and Mangold are also the only two of the four the OP mentioned as "possible holdouts" (lol) that have even mentioned new contracts. Both Brick and Harris have stated that they have no problem being patient. Will we be able to keep all four? Probably not. But three out of four ain't so bad... (according to Meatloaf) We also get to pick between Braylon Edwards and Santonio Holmes after this year, to see who stays with the Jets. Not too bad of a group to have for a 1-year tryout, I think. Good luck and all that, but the Jets are going to be fighting for the top of this division for a long, long while.
